The activism of caitlyne and her mother and other families who are pushing for some kind of response from the texas governor and the texas legislature. and they pushed and because of that they were at least able to give testimony in the capital officially, but the bills that they wanted to support to raise the age from 18 to 21, they went nowhere, essentially. but there was activism. and it got that far. what is, i am always in awe of people that are able to take this kind of trauma in this kind of grief and channel it in the direction that these families have. how did that come about as you reported this out, as you saw it take place? it happened kind of naturally. what happened was that caitlyne spoke out at that first bowl board meeting and caitlyne was a leader in her school, but she was now a child of trauma.
