That fire has burned more than 40,000 acres or about 62 square miles in san mateo and santa cruz counties. Cal fire says it is still 0 contained. Cal fire has now ordered a mandatory evacuation for the entire town of felton and the mountains a few miles north of santa cruz. Everyone in feltons population of about 4000 is being told to leave.
