A family of red foxes has taken up residence in the remains of a burnt out building just off the boardwalk in a Monmouth County beach town drawing curious onlookers and dozens of photographers every day.
The fox vixen and at least five kits burrowed under the wood and flooring the structure and they’ve been there for a couple weeks by most accounts. ....

A family of red foxes has taken up residence in the remains of a burnt out building just off the boardwalk in a Monmouth County beach town drawing curious onlookers and dozens of photographers every day.

Ocean Grove NJ fox den under pavilion ruins is a hit at the boardwalk


OCEAN GROVE - A family of red foxes has become a small attraction at the boardwalk here.   
The family made their den under the remnants of the North End Pavilion, which was razed following a 2019 fire. Their presence has drawn the lenses of amateur and professional photographers willing to sit for hours to snap a picture.
The foxes apparently don t seem to mind the attention. 
I waited an hour. The mother popped her head out first, took a look around, and then her pups all came out one after another, said Ryan Doan, an amateur photographer from Eatontown, of his experience Tuesday. It was comical. The mother nursed them and then they played, almost like a play date. ....
