Palatine Township Welcomes New Officials at Swearing-In Ceremony

Updated 5/21/2021 9:37 AM The newly elected Palatine Township Board was sworn into office on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Palatine Township Center. Joining the newly elected board were family, friends, dignitaries as well as the outgoing officials. Incumbent Andy-John G. Kalkounos, who was previously a trustee, was sworn in as the new Township Supervisor. Clerk Lisa Moran will begin her fourth term, while Assessor Terry Kelly will start his fifth term. Aaron B. Del Mar will begin his second term as Highway Commissioner. One sitting trustee, Bill Pohlman, who was first elected in 2013, will begin his third term. Newcomers, A. Christine Svenson, Leslie M. Bolanos, and Michael C. Smolka, will begin their first elected terms in office as trustees.
