good evening everyone, thank you for joining us for kron 4 news at 8 i m catherine heenan in for pam moore and i m ken wayne in berkeley a protest over horse racing forced the shutdown of a vaccination clinic and caused hundreds of appointments to be canceled. it happened at golden gate fields and that s where we find kron four s terisa to re said that those protesters intend to stop the clinic. they may not have intended to stop the clinic by catherine and cam that s exactly what happened they say that they came out here to home horse racing. but they got a lot more than that. holding bold yellow signs and chanting shut down golden gate fields, protesters position themselves on the sidewalk in front of the east bay track. several activists made it inside disrupting the day s scheduled races. all of this unfolding as 5 horses have died since the start of the year we have 4 activists locked down at the top of the backstretch. we re attempting cease all mounted activities h

investigators are still piecing together a whole lot of the details. what they tell us so far, they have quite a bit of information about how it happened. there s b is resting over there. kind of on the sidewalk. we re told that black tesla made, it ran through this intersection at o farrell and taylor. it was clipped by this gray mini. when it spun out, when that tesla spun out, unfortunately, it did hit those two pedestrians. let s show you video we shot a little bit earlier. we understand from the police that there are actually quite a few cameras at this intersection that captured this collision. we are also told that there is a camera aboard that tesla that was recording the collision so they have quite a lot of information. we understand that the vehicle, the tesla may have run through 5 milesy tked to the man who owns that rented out throu rental app called getaround. it was the rental driver who went through the intersection. this is what he had to say. the message
