Volunteers are busy setting up tables and putting up signs. The tables are set up to allow for social distancing, aside from those few changes it will be the same glide thanksgiving meal that thousands demand on each year. Glide has continued to serve food three meals a day since the start of the pandemic. That has not stopped. Organizers say there was never a doubt they would do thanksgiving, the issue was how. So moving the event outdoors solved that problem. Thankfully no rain. They plan to serve 2,300 meals. Were still under the red flag warning for today especially for the north and east bay hills. Were going to have some warm temperatures for this afternoon just slightly above normal. Overall very comfortable and youll be happy to know we do have calmer weather for the end of the week once these winds really start to go down. As we go through the forecast today we are going to have high temperatures reaching into the mid70s for much of the inner bay and our inland valleys. A few low 80s on the map. Robin all right, thank you john were checking back in on the traffic at our hot spot just cleared in oakland was an overturned crash was blocking for about an hour east bound 5 80 right at 35th avenue at one point we had all lanes closed. Then we were down to 2 lanes but now theyve cleared off to the side so all lanes are open east 5. 80 of 35th avenue, theres a little bit of a residual delay, but its not bad at all and the westbound side is doing south 6 ad adMission South entry fremont just getting word of a new crash there you can see its stacking up a little bit were still at 14 minutes rolling south from dublin to fremont so thats good drive time and ill leave you with a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza 80 west, nice and smooth.
