here is what s coming. right now, we have increasing clouds and little pockets of moisture, mainly up in the clouds not hitting the ground. but there are areas of scattered sprinkles and drizzle right now in and around san francisco and no doubt other places as well. the measurable rain has not arrived yet. it s mainly to the north, just beginning to push onto the north coast around eureka, crescent city, in that area. let s pull back for a looping view of the radar. you can see that moisture moving into areas west and north of us. and now let s start our forecast animation at 11:00 tonight. conditions will be much as they are right now. little pockets of scattered light drizzle. but later in the overnight hours, about 2:00 a.m. or so, we ll see a first wave of light rain and showers. and then it will be followed by a second wave around 5:30 a.m. no doubt there will be wet spots that may slow down morning commuter. and i ll show you what we can expect for the next day ....
