County sheriffs, we needed to evacuate. Reporter the bear fire went on to consume hundreds of acres in dry brush and steep terrain torching trees, four structures and threatening 150 more. So for our area, this is it. This is basically with all the winds and all the dry weather that we have been having, its just been accumulating and accumulating. Reporter once the light came up, cal fire launched an air attack. Nine helicopters conducted a seemingly nonstop attack, crisscrossing the sky, hoping to put out flames in deep brush. Its burning near crest tree farms on the road where people are keeping a close eye on the firefight. The way we have seen fires go up here, were pretty nervous. If the winds kick up tonight, it could be here in half an hour. So hopefully somebody will wake me up. This is fortunate for us that this is mostly hilly grassland area, not really surrounded by a lot of homes but there are homes on the east side of dublin that could be affected. So were very fortunate the weather has been decent and we have a lot of resources that were putting on the fire. But mostly its the terrain this is a grass fire, grassfires are much more manageable than heavy brush fires. Sergeant, can you talk about the evacuation . Vegetation fire around 2 00 this afternoon and grew. Spreading out over hilly terrain as the winds picked up. The mandatory evacuations followed.
