So for our area, this is it. This is basically with all the winds and all the dry weather that we have been having, its just been accumulating and accumulating. Reporter once the light came up, cal fire launched an air attack. Nine helicopters conducted a seemingly nonstop attack, crisscrossing the sky, hoping to put out flames in deep brush. There are homes in this area nestled in the terrain one just over here. 150 homes are still under mandatory evacuation at this hour. The amount of firefighters has gone up dramatically today. Its about triple now up to 600 firefighters and as you mentioned, 5 firefighters have been injured on this. Most of them are minor injuries. A couple of them fell, lacerations, one with smoke inhalation. But one is still in the hospital tonight after having a wrist injury. Firefighters are hoping rain will help. But in the meantime, there is no wind right now. And we talked to one resident who lives near this Christmas Tree farm. He is planning to stay the night and expects another night without a lot of sleep. Live in the santa cruz mountains, Maureen Naylor, back to you. All right, Maureen Naylor reporting for us tonight on the bear creek fire, thank you. Several Evacuation Centers are available including one in los gatos at lakeside elementary school. Oh, our hearts just go out to that woman. There are so many stories like that where these fires come up so fast and people had to run with just the clothes on their backs to get out. Its heartbreaking to hear them lose everything. These are areas that people loved living in. Right. Lifestyle. Its just beautiful. Youre in the woods in the mountains. You have these stunning views but in wildland and you are more vulnerable to these kinds of things. You hit it on head, too, julie. Stacy just brought that home. Thats whats been going on the last week for thousands and thousands of people, that same thing. We have been doing so many stories of people looking outside their window and seeing the fire coming so fast they didnt grab anything and had to run. I know. Its so incredible. Its been an incredible week or so. I do have good news i feel at least on the weather front. Now, the winds have shifted. The fog is back. Theres rain back in the forecast. And so thats better news for firefighters. We are seeing that progress up in the fire zones of Northern California even the bear fire. Reporter Evacuation Orders were lifted for oakmont tuesday afternoon. Also a relief to john and toby oneill who spent more than a week at the Sonoma County fairgrounds Evacuation Center. Reporter now they are one of the last families to leave the Evacuation Center, appreciative of every volunteer who made their stay enjoyable. We have been following developing news this evening in the east bay city of dublin where a grass fire prompted more evacuations this afternoon. That fire started around 2 p. M. Today near tassajara and fallen roads in the camp parks open space north of the Alameda County jail. Ktvus henry lee has been monitoring the situation in dublin all afternoon and he joins us now with an update. Henry. Reporter the fire burned about 116 acres and is all but contained. Take a look behind me at this charred hillside. We are near the corner of fallon and tassajara. An aggressive air attack kept in fire from spreading too far. At one point, there were mandatory evacuations of a neighborhood just to the south. That Evacuation Order was lifted after just about an hour. The good news is no one is injured. Fire crews have come down the hill, but they will maintain a presence to be sure there are no flareups. We saw earlier in the afternoon an aggressive air attack with a c130 hercules from colson aviation. We had an east bay Regional Park helicopter eagle also equipped with a bambi bucket and cal fire helicopter. Later in the afternoon we saw folks from a local Cattle Ranch Company checking on their cattle. I see them now about 30 of them grazing normally. No reports of injuries. No houses were burned. And again, burned about 116 acres. You take a look at the hillside, those homes are to the north of the fire and again they were unscathed. We had fire engines up there. So at this point, we do have fire crews that will spend the night here to make sure there are no flareups. No reports of anyone injured in this fire which burned about 116 acres here in dublin. No question, the ring ceremony, unveiling of the new championship banner and we should probably let ryan pan off for a second and show you the guy that the Houston Rockets are building around, and then they added to this roster but theres james harden and chris paul. Its hard to realize that really just a couple of days more than 4 months ago, we were standing out here the confetti was falling and the warriors were celebrating their second nba championship in three years. Harden for you fashion mavens, apparently short shorts are coming back but man, when you win championships and you go deep into the playoffs, the off season does not seem very long. Two out of three years and looking for three out of four and as you mentioned banner raising tonight and big bling being tapped out. They shortened the nba exhibition season this year to four games and you throw in the fact that the warriors played two games in china, steve crow was asked ifs friday that his team might be a little with ussty and not ready. Heres what steve kerr had to say. Im not worried about anything. You know, um, last year we got beat by 30 points on Opening Night and we won the championship so no matter what happens its not going to really be a barometer or anything like that. Its more, you know, this is a long haul. Reporter bottom line is steve kerr doesnt have a lot to be worried about. I think kevin durant said it yesterday, we have a lot of swag right now a lot of reason for optimism. Reporter i think theres every expectation that with another year of playing together, the warriors could be better this year than last year. Thats a really scary thought [ laughter ] it is. Theres a chance they might even be better off the court. They are already coming up with ideas to help those affected in the north bay fires. Lets talk a little bit about that. Yeah. Take a look at the jersey that the warriors will be wearing when they get their rings tonight. Those jerseys are going to be worn only once. Only by them. Only by them. I think steph curry just made his long shot. Thats a good omen. [ applause and cheers ] thats what were hearing. The jerseys will be autographed by the players and auctioned off and as you said, the proceeds go to the fire victims in the north bay. All proceeds going to everybody affected up there in the north bay. So good stuff on and off the court. The Houston Rockets providing the opposition tonight. And as i mentioned earlier, in case you werent with us, 11. 2 carats worth of diamonds on those new rings and apparently, the diamonds go all the way around. So, man, its good to be champs. They will be receiving them tonight. And then we should also mention that where the banner is going to be unveiled up above us, as well. Theres a spot up there. If you can get that shot, you can see theres an empty spot and it never gets old lowering one of those, either. Right. They are piling up there at oracle. And the banner will look a little bigger than this but heres your miniature version of the banner. Theres just swag everywhere. Theres a lot going on out here. And well have all the highlights for you, of course, and the postgame, Jason Appelbaum is out here as well, hopefully there will be a lot of highlights on the warriors side. Absolutely.
