Ethics penalty that forms the basis of that debt . I would say no. So the language in the agreement does not preclude them from being able to challenge it. Question ten, can the Ethics Commission take it back after they make a referral to negotiate or does a referral indicate we own the account . We do not own it. Its fine for the Ethics Commission to recall an account back if they needed to renegotiate for whatever the reasons might be. Some of the common things we see with clients is if they send an obligation to us and say we were off on the amount that was due or there was the due process element that was missed and whenever we administered the penalty to them it wouldnt have that part fixed before we sent it back, that happens on a regular basis with other clients, and we treat those cases the same. Its fine to have them pulled back. The only thing is if the client ....
One organization. I want to thank our mayor of San Francisco, our leader for being a leader in the issue of gun violence. Give her a hand and welcome. Mattie scott, the mothers, Brady Campaign, all of the mothers who are part of this endeavor to end gun violence. Give it up for the mothers. [applause] i would be wrong if i didnt acknowledge jason and all of the gentlemen who came home after doing a life sentence in prison behind violence who are here to end senseless violence. Give them brothers a hand. [applause] i definitely have got to give a shout out to the sfpd who are partners of ours to end this gun violence. It is controversy with the community and cops. We are standing here in solidarity. Thank you guys for showing up, sfpd. [applause] all our Community Partners based in this together and or sponsors. Dispen ....
Distracts us from paying attention to whats around us. I cant tell you how many people have had their phones snatched out of their hands because they werent paying attention to whats around them. We cant prevent everything but we can prevent a lot of things. So Pay Attention. We know people have to make calls and you have to answer your calls, but Pay Attention as you do that because it just makes for a more vigilant and resilient San Francisco when you do that. So have a wonderful thanksgiving. Remember to shop and dine in the 49. Youll see many of us out there shopping as well. My daughter is here in town and i promised here i was going to take her shopping. [laughter] so thank you. With that ill turn it over to commissioner adams. [applause] thank you. Really would encourage the department to really try to devote some new resources into drilling down on the data so that, you know, we are really providing the legislators as much information as we can so that the recommendations and new legislation that they put forward is that balance of these very, very challenging and difficult situations. I would encourage you to try to find some more resources for that. Thank you. I will definitely do that. Commissioner lee, please. Bill, so we have of the 11,000 that submitted the checklist to us, we dont have an idea right now how many are in the category one or two, three, four . That is in the weekly report but the numbers are quite small because it adds up to 3,000. What percentage is category one . I am curious. I dont know the breakdown on the percentage. I am guessing many accident business businesses are in category one. Maybe to manage this program, maybe we should start getting people to say submit your checklist. If you are in category ....
Work of health right 360. Im excited to be here today and be joined by supervisor haney and dr. Grant colfax from the department of Public Health to really express my excitement about what these new beds due to provide an opportunity for people who we know need this level of support. As someone who grew up in San Francisco and especially now as mayor, i do spend a lot of time in the neighborhood. And the consistent theme of people, who in some cases that i grew up with, or the parents of people who i grew up with, who unfortunately have had challenges with Substance Use disorder, they are maybe getting the kind of help and treatment they need to, but then once they go through the 90 day program, thats when the struggle really begins. They dont know where they are going to go. And the truth of the matter is, in many cases, t ....
