O’Brien running for Avoca Council
Dennis O’Brien, a life resident of West Avoca, announces his candidacy for Avoca Borough Council, first ward.
O’Brien, who is married with three children and a grandfather, is a U.S. Army veteran and earned a technical certification in computer science from Starr Technical School.
He has worked in public safety with Luzerne County and currently works for the Pittston Area School District as a security officer.
O’Brien serves on the Luzerne County Democratic Committee representing Avoca Borough’s first ward, is a member of many of Avoca’s civil organizations and has served on the board of directors for many of these organizations. ....
