Amounts of snow generally averaging around two inches, a little bit less to the north and the south. Theres also a chance of snow for parts of the area on saturday. Well talk about that storm, too a little bit later. Crews say theyre ready to role when the first flakes start falling. They were pretreating the roads early this afternoon. Thats where nbc Randy Gyllenhaal is live. This is the most snow of the season for most of the road crews. Reporter in the past hour or so, penn dot called in the reinforcement. Contractors will be helping out, making a total of 300 trucks salting the roads into the overnight hours. Its not going to be the biggest storm of the system, but its a good reminder for folks at home to start the snow and ice checklist. Ahead of the first real taste of winter, penn dot crews spent the past 24 hours brining local roads. So the District Attorneys Office worked with capoot family and they decided to go ahead and accept the sentence that was handed down today. This sentencing hearing has been a long time in coming. Next week will be the fouryear anniversary of officer jim capoots murder. His family and fellow Police Officers came together for a moment of silence moments before heading into the courthouse. Im thankful that all of you guys are here for jennifer and her three daughters. Reporter video cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, but in this series of pictures, you can see henry entering.
