Members of the board i am Shirley Breyer black, and i cant believe im here talking about pay equity again when i was one of the original ones when Dianne Feinstein was mayor. We went through all of the statistics and this equity was the most fair thing to do for the people that are working, and i certainly hope that, and i am sure this board will look into all these things and not change our pay equity. Its very important and when i read in the newspapers now about other cities in this country being very proud that now they have discovered pay equity that weve had for a long time and theyre proud to use it and its ours and we have to work on it and make it even better.
