four people shot and one killed as gunshots erupt during a popular street festival. good evening. i m in for craig melvin. the violence happened during the daylight hours but the story is still developing tonight. police are on the scene in 2700 block of gresham place, northwest, where news4 darcy spencer is live with late-breaking details. darcy? reporter: aaron, we ve been able to confirm in the last half hour one of the victims of the shooting did, in fact, die this evening. he s described as a 43-year-old man here from northwest washington. he was one of those innocent bystanders who was out here enjoying the festival when he got caught up in the crossfire. police describe a chaotic scene and exchain of gunfire in one of those guns was a high caliber weapon. four people were shot including three innocent bystanders during the caribbean festival along georgia avenue on saturday afternoon. one of the victims, later died. sources tell us that the gunfire erupted in the gas
