You saw that video. Very tense moments for students on the ucla campus. 43,000 undergrads getting ready for finals next week. Theyre put in lockdown. They got emergency text alerts telling them to barricade the doors and dont let anybody in. That all happened this morning and two hours later we were told by lapd that the suspect was one of the two dead in the initial shooting, that it was a murdersuicide, and the shooting scene was contained in one small office in the engineering building. That information came along with the news that there was a note and a gun also in that room. What the note says we dont know. We dont know the relationship or the identities of the two men who were killed in this murdersuicide this morning who died, but thats the situation here. Now, we should tell you that they did spend several more hours aftr campus safe just sweeping through the building to make sure all the students had the word that they were okay and also looking for evidence in the adjacent b

And there are enough similarities familiar to the three incidents that happened before that police are stepping up their patrols. The very first incident happened on april 7th including the 5200 block of eighth road south. 12 days later you hit another one on the 5200 block of 30th street north. Now what are the similarities . The children who were approached in both of these cases tried to get them to go with him. They we one was on april 23 and one that happened a week ago on april 25th in the 2500 block of north stafford.
In arlington. It caught fire shortly before this morning. Neighbors told the two people inside to get out and they along with their dogs all escaped. Fire caused major damage to the first floor of the house as you can tell from this video. We just dont know how bad it is. Were also working to find out how the fire started. The plane crashed into the Mediterranean Sea last month with 66 people onboard. This morning egypt officials said a french ship received signals it believes are the black boxes.
