Bradford, Perpignan Lead Clemson to Win at Boston College, 67-57

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Behind the play of its starting guards, Clemson downed Boston College, 67-57, on Sunday afternoon inside Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The win moves the Tigers to 13-8 on the year, 4-5 ACC, while the loss drops the Eagles to 13-9, 3-6 ACC.  Daisha Bradford and Brie Perpignan combined for 31 of Clemson’s XX points, while Amari Robinson added 12. Bradford and Perpignan also combined for five steals, four three-pointers and 11 free throws, with Perpignan finishing 7-7 from the free throw line. Hannah Hank finished with a team-high nine rebounds, while Robinson added seven. The teams traded 10-0 scoring runs in the first quarter, before Boston College used three-straight baskets to end the quarter and take a 16-15 lead. CLEMSON, S.C. - Ten different Tigers scored to help the Clemson women’s basketball team battle until the final seconds against No. 7 Notre Dame before falling 57-54 on Thursday night in Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers move to 12-8 overall and 3-5 in ACC play, while the Fighting Irish improve to 15-2 overall and 6-1 in the ACC.Graduate Brie Perpignan and senior Amari Robinson were the lone Tigers to hit double digits with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Pittsburgh, Pa. Behind a 24-8 third quarter, Clemson rallied from a ten-point halftime deficit to cruise to victory, 72-57, over Pitt on Sunday afternoon inside the Petersen Events Center. The win moves the Tigers to 12-7 on the year, 3-4 in the ACC, while the loss drops Pitt to 7-10, 0-6 in the ACC. The win marked the largest second-half comeback in an ACC road game for Clemson since January 23, 2011, when the Tigers were down 11 at the half and won at Wake Forest, 77-73 in overtime.Amari Robinson led all scorers with 18 points, while pulling down six rebounds and dishing out six assists.
