National Security Agency collected information about americans phone records without the authority to do so last fall. It happened months after the fed said they deleted a massive database of phone records that the nsa had improperly collected going back to 2015. Were just learning about this latest incident through documents made public in a lawsuit that the American Civil Liberties union filed against the nsa.
