Devastated a small illinois town, one of at least two to be hit in the area last evening. Two women in their late 60s were killed in fairdale, about 80 miles west of chicago. They were friends. One was found today. Shed taken refuge in it her shower and was holding her purse. More than a dozen others were injured and anna werner is in fairdale for us this evening. Anna. Reporter scott, you can see how strong the winds still are at this hour, and the tornado that came through last night literally tore the front off of the house behind me. And its not just here. This is the kind of damage we saw driving a 20mile radius all around us. The tornados path of destruction was clear homes flattened, wood splintered and piled like matchsticks as far as the eye could see in the tiny farming town of fairdale. This tractor trailer was toppled like a toy. The twister struck around dinner time no sirens, little warning. Wow, you were right here. The tv was sitting there and we were watching the news.

Paul, its not hard to miss that that father did not mention the name of his son ethan in that appeal. Do we know anything about the whereabouts of ethan . Reporter well, this is what we do know. A Law Enforcement source told me that the remains found inside the home are consistent with those of the 8yearold boy. As you indicated the father both here at the Sheriffs Office and last night had alluded to hannah, his daughter coming home, but did not make the same reference to ethan. So we have to see. We know they also say that right now, jimdy manualio is charged with one murder and possibly could be charged with two. So it remains to be seen when they will go ahead. The coroner will come out
