KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued show-cause notices to the federal secretary of ministry of interior and the director general of Federal Investigation Agency for flouting SHC directives in a petition of a missing person.
The two-judge bench headed by Justice Mohammad Karim Khan Agha said that the secretary and the DG FIA were directed twice to collect and produce reports from the interment centres and submit travel history of the missing person, but they violated both orders and ordered them to appear on May 27.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], March 16 (ANI): Various Muslim organisations on Tuesday held a rally to protest against former Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board chairmanWasim Rizvi over his petition filed in the Supreme Court wherein he has sought the removal of 26 verses from the Quran.
A Tahaffuz-e-Quran and Shia Sunni Itehaad rally was organised at Maidan-e-Ghadeer Darul-Shifa in the state capital to condemn the petition filed by Rizvi. Religious leaders from both Shia and Sunni Community participated in the rally.
Both Shia and Sunni religious leaders have condemned the attack of Waseem Rizvi on the sanctity of the Quran and said that it will not be tolerated and we will never endorse such statements .
