Our first bart trains are out of the yard on time. No delays reported for caltrain, ferries or ace. Thats kcbs traffic. Some developing news over the east bay where an accident investigation will stop bart trains for part of the afternoon later today. The ntsb will close the tracks where the two workers were killed. Kpix 5 reporter anne makovec is in walnut creek where the timing of todays closure is critical. Anne. Reporter im here at the memorial for those two workers who were killed on the tracks on saturday afternoon. Today they are going to do a reenactment of that deadly accident. Now, heres what you need to know if you do take bart through this area. And youre going to this afternoon. Bart is going to use a bus bridge in the east bay. Buses taking passengers between Pleasant Hill and lafayette. The bart tracks are going to be closed from noon until 3 30 this afternoon for this ntsb reenactment of the accident that killed two workers here on the tracks on saturday afternoon. Fede
And drive slow out there. Southbound 101 no major problems reported heading across the Golden Gate Bridge but getting there again there is that accident in sausalito just outside the waldo tunnel. The bay bridge commute backups at the toll plaza extending to the 880 overcrossing. The metering lights are still off though. And bart is operating on a normal weekday schedule, full service and no delays, no problems reported also for the local ferries, caltrain or ace. All right, liza, just got reports of delays at sfo of over an hour on arriving flights and that is due to low clouds and fog outside right now and again, a thick fog settling in across much of the bay area as we speak.
