On the homefront. Welcome to washington. Guest thank you so much for being here to talk with me about it. So, tell me a bit about your book. Guest i never intended to write a book. My oldest son headed off to the Naval Academy and at that time there were parents to communicate with each other and engage and just kind of connect so i began posting on that list and everything changed. My son had gone to a Peacetime Navy and within a few short hours everything changed. And so i began to write more. Ultimately i was asked to become a moderator and that started with me encouraging and supporting the navy Academy Parents through the time i have two more had two more children who decided to apply and attend the Naval Academy and so as the years went by not only did i have them i had that i have been on active duty and so they kept saying you need to write this all down in the book and as our life continued in its twists and turns, my husband after his airline declared bankruptcy he worked for
