weekend. mike toobin at o hare airport in chicago with a nightmare. we begin with max gordon in hamburg, new york, south of buffalo tonight. good evening, max. reporter: good evening, mike. all day today, waves have been crashing over the railing behind me as 14 to 18 foot swell. the parking lot that i am standing next to right here coming apart in neighborhoods near us had to be evacuated because of a storm surge pushed through and it is causing flooding. this bomb cyclone, we had to deal with heavy snow and extremely gusty winds. a gus of 72 miles per hour was recorded at the buffalo international airport. white out condition and 0 visibility and had to shut down operations at the airport, no flights in and out. road conditions are very treacherous right now. the city of buffalo banning all vehicle traffic and other counties across western new york saying don t go on the roads, tens of thousands of people are without power. this storm is packing quite a punch here i ....
