There has to be some discrimination here. There has to be something against Asian Americans specifically. This case is going to be something more than just about admissions. The notion that noticing race is per se unconstitutional could be devastating for a number of areas of the law. An ....

It is quite the opposite at a convention. You could walk into a convention, you can be watching it from you know, you had the Bob Uker seats which are usually the best seats to stand in, take it all in and say, okay, what is the state of this party. And a key Group Booze Jd Vance as he tries to rewrite trumps labor record. Joining me live, lets do it. When 87yearold Lydia Martinez woke up before 6 a. M. To a sound of a knock on her door last week, she assumed it was perhaps a neighbor who needed milk or eggs. But, to her surprise, it wasnt a neighbor. Rather, nine officers. Most of the men, came to her front door. Some of them had Riot Shields or guns in their holsters. The officers presented a Search Warrant and question her for three hours. At one point they even had the greatgrandmother stand outside in her nightgown. According to their warrants, officers were looking for records including applications for ballot by mail, a list of voter banks, and documents about elected officials and candidates. Martinez said the officers told her they were there because she had filled out a report saying that older residents wer ....

MSNBC The Last Word With Lawrence ODonnell July 10, 2024

Breyers last great important decisions if he were to step down. This notion that if we talk about it, it will make him more resistant to the completely rational choice to step down at this time, strikes me as just so childish. I mean, senators face this all the time. Members of the court have faced it throughout our lives, the question of should soandso not run for reelection, and adults deal with that. And he should understand that of course theres plenty of rational reason why he should step down. This is the perfect summer for him to do that. And the notion that if we talk about it, he just might stay there till hes, i dont know what, hes 82 now, i dont know. Do you not feel even the least bit superstitious about it, though . I mean, given what we have just been through with the last few vacancies on the court. Is there like a little, like, dont walk under the ladder, dont cross the black cat, superstition feeling for you about talking about it . Or is that just me . Youd have to pr ....
