Lee Women Ninth At Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational Tuesday, March 16, 2021 – In their second outing of the spring season, the Lee University women’s golf team finished ninth at Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational at the Orange Tree Golf Club. The Lady Flames amassed a total of 977 strokes over three rounds. Dallas Baptist won the team title with a 55-over par 919. Lynn University was second (947) and Rollins College (953) finished third. Yui Srinchantamit and Emily Felix tied for 28th with a three-round total of 245 (+29). Srinchantamit recorded round scores of 81, 80 and 84, while Felix hit 82, 79 and 84. Emma Pittman was two strokes behind and tied for 36th.
During the time period typically associated with spring break, the Liberty men s and women s track & field teams will head to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Named for the former Coastal Carolina women s track & field/cross country coach, the meet will take place Friday and Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
A total of 82 Liberty athletes are entered in the meet, which is scheduled to begin Friday at 10 a.m. with the men s hammer and women s javelin. Saturday s events will also get started at 10 a.m., with the men s discus first to begin.

The Liberty women s tennis team will compete in three matches this week, with one non-conference bout and its first two ASUN Conference matches of the spring.
Liberty (10-2) and Charlotte (13-4) will face each other, Wednesday at noon at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex in Charlotte, N.C.
The Lady Flames will then open ASUN play at North Alabama (4-8) on Friday morning. Match time is set for 11 a.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Central) at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts in Florence, Ala. Liberty will close out the weekend with another conference match in Nashville, Tenn. The Lady Flames and Lipscomb Bisons (5-6) will play at 11 a.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Central) at the Huston Marsh Griffith Tennis Center.
