Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Next Up for Liberty Track

During the time period typically associated with spring break, the Liberty men's and women's track & field teams will head to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Named for the former Coastal Carolina women's track & field/cross country coach, the meet will take place Friday and Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
A total of 82 Liberty athletes are entered in the meet, which is scheduled to begin Friday at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer and women's javelin. Saturday's events will also get started at 10 a.m., with the men's discus first to begin.
