RedHawks dominate Goldeyes 16-6

FARGO, ND – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks dominated the Winnipeg Goldeyes 16-6 Friday night. The Goldeyes got on the board early when Tyler Hill scored on a Max Murphy RBI single in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead for Winnipeg. Fargo-Moorhead answered in the home half of the first inning with Correlle Prime scoring on a Kevin Krause sacrifice fly to center field tying the game at 1-1. The RedHawks took a lead on a Nick Novak RBI single that plated Alex Boxwell making it 2-1 Fargo-Moorhead. The ‘Hawks put up 7 runs in the third inning, that included a 3-run home run by Sam Dexter, lifted the RedHawks to a 9-1 lead.

Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks logo. FARGO, ND – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks defeated the Houston Apollos 4-1 Saturday night. The RedHawks got on the board early with Leo Pina scoring on a passed ball in the bottom of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Apollos answered in the top of the fourth inning when Blake Berry scored on a Daniel Aldrich RBI single tying the game at 1-1. Fargo-Moorhead took the lead back on a Will Zimmerman solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to make it 2-1. Zimmerman added to the ‘Hawks lead with an RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth making it 3-1 Fargo-Moorhead.
