Jesse Puljujarvi, 5. He and Kahun were bumped off the top line in the third, as coach Dave Tippett tried new lines to fire up the squad. He had played reasonably well up until then and helped manufacture a dangerous Kulikov chance.
Dominik Kahun, 5. He almost scored in the first off a fast-moving 3-on-2 rush, when Puljujarvi broke out fast, then McDavid set him up for a 5-alarm chance. Not much else to show for his night, though he hustled hard.
