Community Recovery Hubs to Provide Ongoing Support Following Storm
With support from the community, agencies, organisations and volunteers, Council will establish two Community Recovery Hubs in Kalorama and Olinda, to provide ongoing support and assistance to local communities impacted by the recent storm and power outage.
Council will maintain its presence at the current community hub sites until the full transition to the new recovery hubs is complete. These hubs are expected to be up and running by Monday, 5 July.
Mayor of Yarra Ranges, Cr Fiona McAllister, said that the hubs would help with the changing needs of the community from immediate relief, to more medium and longer-term support.

Shoalhaven City Council Launches Community Voices Program
Shoalhaven City Council is launching a new program this month called Community Voices, which aims to give community members an opportunity to get together and talk about what they love about where they live, and future opportunities in our towns and villages.
Over the next twelve months staff from Council’s Community Connections team will visit each town and village in the Shoalhaven to meet with interested community members.
The program will begin with community visits to Culburra Beach, Orient Point, Kioloa and Bawley Point on the second and fourth Wednesdays in April.
