Cumberland City Council puts spotlight on youth
We’re hosting two events as part of 2021 Youth Week from 16 April to 24 April.
Mayor Steve Christou said it’s a great opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views and enjoy local activities.
“Young people make up the foundation of our community. They are tomorrow’s leaders, professionals and artists, and their participation in all conversations are valued.”
“In the spirit of this year’s theme, Together More Than Ever, we are hosting a social event and story expo for young people aged 12 to 25.”
“I encourage Cumberland City youth to get involved over this two – day program. Activities include live performances, job readiness programs and storytelling.”
Friday 16 April and Saturday 24 April – Far South Film presents Live Visual Effects for Streaming, a 2-day youth workshop for ages 12 to 18 at the Funhouse Studio Bega
