KU Nursing Students Conduct Temperature Checks to Support Pediatric Patients Several Keiser University Daytona Beach campus Nursing Program students recently volunteered to do temperature checks and ticket scanning at the Daytona 500 ‘Speedweek’ events to benefit pediatric patients.
Director of Student Services Lynne Carr and Nursing Instructor Marilene Lacson, the group was thankful for the opportunity to donate their wages to support The Betty Jane France Pediatric Center at Halifax Health which is also known as ‘Speediatrics.’
