The Maui News Jaisen Kahalehau, 44, was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening. He was arrested after police were called to the Kahului breakwater at about 8 p.m. The other man told police that Kahalehau challenged him to a fight and ran toward him while holding an 18-inch machete with the blade pointed up, according to a declaration filed in court to support the charge.
