recruiting center where a gunman opened fire yesterday killing four marines. good afternoon, i m maria medina. hi, everyone. i m frank mallicoat. and we are learning more about the marines killed in yesterday s shooting spree in chattanooga, tennessee. reporter karin caifa reports. i think this is somebody that wasn t on radar. reporter: local and federal investigators are trying to figure out why muhammad youssef abdulazeez went on a rampage thursday. police say he opened fire on a military recruitment office then a navy operational support center both hit within 30 minutes. in the end, four marines were killed, three others were injured. investigators are now looking to see if the shooter had any ties to terrorism. there s no indication at this point that anybody else was involved. obviously we re still at the beginning of this investigation. we ll explore any possibility and that includes whether or not anyone else was involved in this. reporter: those who ....
