Flames raced through this home in annandale, trapping a 94yearold man inside. And tonight we are learning more about the victim from neighbors who captured images of the aftermath. Family members tell us 23yearold liz mendez was a mother of three who moved here from guatemala a few years ago to be with her boyfriend, the father of her children. Governor Hogan<\/a> wants to get off the ground. Express toll lanes along the 270 corridor, the maryland side of the beltway, and the bw parkway. Two new lanes in each direction of those roads. Its still not clear exactly how long it would even take to build this project, but the state is positive. You are 100 confident the beltway, 270, 295 are all going to see these massive changes . Every one of them will see changes. Reporter and on metro, the gm has unveiled a budget that calls for no fare hikes and no service cuts, but a 165 million more from local jurisdiction to help fund the system. Metro says other than maintenance, most of the new funding it gets this year will go toward buying more of those shiny new 7,000 series railcars which are also supposed to provide a safer ride.
