shooting happened on 1900 block of ellsworth street. the 30-year-old man was shot in the chest and the arm. he is in currently in critical condition. no word on what sparked the shooting. a stretch of i-76 in gloucester city new jersey is open after being closed for a tractor-trailer fire. this video shows the struck truck fully engulfed in flames. the truck caught fire in the northbound lanes approaching the walt whitman bridge yesterday evening. a lot of people heading back from the shore had to sit in the gridlock as only the shoulder could squeeze by. all lanes opened, but not before 1:00 a.m. this morning. verizon workers are on the job, but without a contract. they say it will not be a longer wait for you today. >> reporter: verizon workers staying on the job without a contract. but we finished out the week with modest gains. overseas greece's stock market has reopened five weeks after trading was suspended. stocks plunged 20% when trading resumed. the drop came to prevent prediction center is giving the northern roughly half of the region above philadelphia and trenton a slight chance of storms that could form strong gusty, damaging winds. again, not everybody sees this, that is something to keep in mind in the northern areas. in the wide area covered in yellow from the areas north of the city up into new york state there's a chance of an isolated tornado, a small chance, but if you hear thunder take cover indoors on the lower floors just in case. in allentown dry during the day, sun and clouds, more humid 90 degrees is the forecasted high. shower and thunderstorm chance later on this evening. down the shore dry all the way clouds and sun 86 degrees. low chance of rip currents today, but swim near the lifeguards is smart. 92 degrees is the high in it on the truck. in the last 25 or 30 seconds they opened the two left northbound lanes by 322. fire crews and police remain on the scene. as chopper pans back you can see the delay which is sizable already. this is a busy spot in the morning of the it doesn't take long for the delay to form. there's the traffic on 322 stacked up toward i-95. this is another vantage point the traffic is not getting anywhere. from the delaware state line up to the accident scene on 322 what this means if you're trying to catch a flight at phl you'll be late. stay on 291 or route 13 or stay on route 1 baltimore pike or work your way into delaware anne run 295 north to the barry bridge do that you'll mice -- miss the accident scene. elsewhere, new construction getting underway. starting next monday news and pictures as we prepare for the arrival of pope francis in september. >> developing overnight two home intruders are on the run after tieing up two people in south philadelphia and robbing them. the home invasion happened on south marshall street after midnight. the robbers snuck in the window and tied up the man and women in the house. they made off a watch and wallet and $800 in cash. new from the delaware newsroom, a gunman serious injured a 16-year-old boy in wilmington. the action cam was on north jefferson street before midnight. the teenage victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the back. it is unclear who shot the teen and why. a crash in bucks county sent 6 people to the hospital it happened south of the yardley newtown road exit. three of the victims were thrown from the vehicle. there's no word on what caused the crash. one person was injured when a car crashed into a petco a female driver hit the front of the store yesterday afternoon. a cricket cage was knocked over that led to outside and inside the store. >> wildfires blaze rage out of control in california. evacuations have forced out 12,000 people. 9,000 firefighters on the ground fighting this thing and the u.s. military has sent in two c-130 fire fighting planes from colorado to help. >> an intense storm system swept across the chicago area and caused a death. a tent collapsed on a 35-year-old man who was at the festival. he was killed. 15 people were hospitalized. they with serious injuries. police had to cut holes in the tarp to get people out. >> it started down pouring. super windy next thing we know the tent just picked up and flew. >> flew. >> it was horrible. >> the storm sparked a mass exodus in chicago when they delayed the music festival. the same system the temple university sky6 live hd camera looking south of city hall from north broad street. 73 degrees right now in the city. the dewpoint is up to 65 now climbing a little bit so it feels more humid than over the weekend when it was hot but not all that humid. winds out of the humid south/southwest at # miles per hour. not a lot wind out there just yet. satellite showing we have clear skies, but clouds filter in later on. most of the precipitation falls apart, but there's the possibility after we head into the later afternoon and evening hours of something popping in the northern and western suburbs. 4:00 p.m. future tracker 6 has this off to the region. most of this out to the north and west, by 7:00 p.m. something popping through. the biggest chance of the thunderstorm would be in the northern suburbs. national storm prediction center has areas north of trenton and halfway up bucks and montgomery and chester county and north in through new york state at a slight risk with storms that could be damaging. there could be spotty thunderstorms, but not a big possibility. there's an outside chance of isolated tornado from us to new york state. bottom line, if you hear thunder later on in the evening hours take cover indoors on the lower floors just in case. it's going to be a hot one 73 degrees by 8:00. 82 by 11:00 a.m. the morning not too bad. the high of 92 is around 3:30, or 4:00 p.m. again, it will feel a bit more humid. not oppressive, but stickier than the last few days high temperatures in the 90s allentown, millville. mid 80s down the shore. a close look at the beach shows ocean temperatures in the uppers 60s off atlantic city. cape may, 73 in the water there not a risk of rip currents. tomorrow humid, frontal boundary comes through. most of the rain overturned jeep early this morning. the traffic in the northbound lanes of i-95 is starting to move at a better clip bunching up a little bit as you head into the sunshine and up toward the blue route. overall it is getting better. schuylkill expressway westbound delay travel time delayed 13 minutes, 27 minutes from the vine to the blue route. this is the scene of the schuylkill expressway at spring garden. the ramp from the westbound lanes of 76 remains closed that's scheduled until tomorrow. starting tote they will close this ramble 23r-9 eastbound -- ramps from eastbound side of the schuylkill expressway to spring garden. if you use spring garden afters along 76 you're out of luck for the next week or so. 21 miles per hour eastbound by the blue route. that fire location that is under control by plymouth meeting friends school. avoid butler pike, juice joshua road. -- use joshua road. watch out for paving work along tyburn road they will restrict the ramps at newborn road and old bristol pike. a pair of explosions rocked two churches in new mexico. one happened in a mail box at a baptist church and another explosion outside a catholic church three miles away. fbi and state police are trying to figure out who planted the explosives and whether they are connected. >> a ballot boy accidently struck in the head during practice has died from his injuries. a college player
