Outspoken Australian basketball star Liz Cambage's said her defiant attitude comes from her childhood where she felt so out of place she once wanted to kill herself. Cambage, 29, polarised sport fans when she called out the Australian Olympic Committee over a perceived lack of racial diversity in its promotional photos. The basketball superstar lived with her Australian mum Julia after a split from her Nigerian father in 1991 and was bullied and teased as 'dirty' at school in Melbourne.
