Some excellent comments there.:) Well, I actually manged to find time, and the weather, to do a short visit into Rochester on Friday to find it still lacking in subject matter. However, I did find this delightful young lady who was happy for me to photograph her although she did say that she wasn't photogenic. Well, I think she looks perfectly ok and I was more than pleased to take a few images with the Cathedral as a backdrop. All the best to all and roll on 'proper' Summer. John :)

Answer.a 'brain' :) This is a shot of a huge fungus growing on the side of a mature Beech tree. The versions are a monochrome conversion of the lead and a shot showing the whole fungus.
