Reporter surveillance cameras were rolling just after two friday afternoon when three men exited the popular a and a deli in west philadelphia. They approached lynn, words were exchanged and one suspect through a punch then opened fire with a 9millimeter handgun. They just targeted him and gunned him down for no reason. Random act of violence in the city. Gunman fired nine shots from an extended magazine on the gun. When the barrage of gunfire ended, the 49 year old lynn had been shot six times. Police say the motive for the shooting the victim bumped into the suspect in the store. Pull out gun and shoot someone over an argument its completely senseless. Reporter as the three men ran off officers arrived and raced lynn to hup in a cop car. That helped save his life. He has no movement in his lower extremities. A tractor trailer hits a dump truck along the pennsylvania turnpike. It happened around 11 00 oclock this morning between valley forge and norristown exits. A turnpike worker was inside the dump truck at the time. Medics took him to the hospital with minor injuries. Pennsylvania state police are investigating. A wild crash on the roosevelt boulevard sends two people to the hospital. It happened just after 10 00 this morning at horn anything road. Police say a man was under a hood of a disabled infinity when woman driving a toyota smashed into it. The man briefly became trapped under the hood. He only suffered minor injuries. A witness describes what he saw. She came barrel link and tried to get out from behind him into this side, railed him, spins in front of the tow truck, tow truck rails her and spins her back in that position. The crash tied up traffic for more than an hour and a half. Police are still trying to figure out exactly how this happened. The woman an baby in her car were not hur. A somber start to the school eighty three for students at a Bucks County High School mourning the loss of three classmates. Well every student that we talk to thinks expanding Campus Police security territory is a great idea. The new boundaries will increase the Campus Security presence on the west side of campus from keepth up to 18th on the east side down to fifth north up to susquehanna nan south down to jefferson streets. Temple says its an effort to improve responsiveness to temple students who live off campus. Plans to extend Police Patrol have been in the work for months. Because the student population off campus has grown but temple says the plans were expedited after an attack last spring where a temple student was assaulted with a brick by a group of high schoolgirls. That attack happened on 17th and norris streets. Reality of things theres crime out there you dont have the same resources as you do on the campus and thats one of the reasons why were moving out there to try to help out with that. I think its a great idea but usually it actually used to end at 16th street and now most students are becoming 18th and 19th and so on and so forth its good to have more people out here to watch. I like that lot. I think theres no harm in having more patrol. I didnt feel like i needed a ton of more patrol but i like that theyre out here. Theyre getting attention because of who is not on the field today playing for quakertown. Specifically, a quakertown senior player who happens to be a boy playing on the girl field hockey team. Well, tonight that boy has since quit the team. He is not on the field and so has the and tire quake consider town Coaching Staff. Heres video. This is josh schwartz. Hes been Playing Field hockey since seventh grade. But as of two weeks ago, hes not allowed to play on the varsity team, because pennsylvania inter Scholastic Athletic Association banned males from playing female sports in the post season. In essence, if he played his team couldnt go to the playof playoffs. Well, schwartz threatened a lawsuit against the piaa. Today he announced the High School Senior will not pursue the lawsuit.
