Reporter investigators say the Cabrini College students who rent this home were having a small private party on saturday night. On sunday morning a couple of the victims roommates found him on one of the couches inside. Thought he was asleep on the couch. Realized he was not breathing. They contacted the Police Department and Lafayette Ambulance showed up. The Police Officers conducted cpr. Reporter still, the 22yearold Cabrini College lacrosse player was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is being performed at this hour. Investigators tell us even though an antiopioid was administered at the scene and Drug Paraphernalia was found inside the house the cause of death has not yet been determine. In the end though both neighbors and local Officials Say these kinds of cases are nothing short of tragic. Its a real shame somebody so young with their whole life ahead of them. Officers say it happened friday morning in the 900 block of west luzerne street much witnesses say they saw a man force the woman who a green car possibly a toyota camry way partial pennsylvania tag kbl137. A witness told police she also heard a woman screaming at the man and then the suspect followed the woman in the car and forced her inside before driving off. New details tonight about a crash that injured a delaware state trooper. Investigators say the trooper was responding to a domestic altercation and his cruisers lights and sirens were activated when a car pulled in front of him. The crash happened yesterday evening on route seven in stanton, new castle county. The other driver involved was taken to christiana hospital. The trooper was treated at the hospital and released. Two former philadelphia Police Officers have been found not guilty of wrongly beating a man. Today a jury acquitted sean mcnight and Kevin Robinson in the beating of 23yearold natch gee rivera during a traffic stop in 2013. The officers said rivera fled after running a stop sign and they believed he was a drug courier. Surveillance video contradicted their version of the events. A second guilty verdict for a father accused of setting a house fire that killed his two young sons. The blaze happened back in 1985 in oxford circle. Jurors today deliberated for six days before finding Daniel Dougherty guilty of Second Degree murder and arson. He was sentenced to life without parole. Originally dougherty was given the Death Penalty for killing his threeyearold and fouryearold sons but that sentence was thrown out on a technicality. Ahsir reece of Violent Attacks in philadelphia that sent several people to the hospital. Happened in north philadelphia Port Richmond and spring garden. In two of those incidents the suspects are still on the run tonight. Philadelphia detectives say a man was shot while pulling his car out of a drive way near 12th and wallace streets in spring garden. The victim continued to drive but then lost control of his car and slammed into the front doors of a church. Detectives say he then walked away from the wreckage, was picked up by another driver and taken to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment. Not clear who shot him or why. Some sort of fight throwed a stabbing in north philadelphia. Happened near ridge and cecil b. Moore avenues. Detectives say a man with a cut to his hand flagged down a Police Cruiser in the area. Those officers took him to the hospital for treatment. A short time later a second person called 911 saying he had been stabbed in the arm near lidge and cecil b. Moore, that same area. He was also taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities say the first man will be charged in the incident. And a man is fighting for his life tonight after being shot twice in the head. This was the scene outside of a chinese takeout restaurant along the 2000 block of castor avenue in Port Richmond. Detectives say the shooter snuck up behind the victim, shot him and ran off. The victim whose name has not been released was rushed to Temple University hospital where hes in extremely critical condition. And detectives add that several other people also shot at the victim and police are looking at Surveillance Video in the area to try to hopefully identify them tonight. Philadelphia detectives are also hoping Surveillance Video leads them to the thieves who made off with a large haul of cigarettes. Boyle says residents have Health Concerns because of the discoveries and the epa could do more. It should immediately finalize the updated stricter advisory levels that take into account lifetime exposure.
