erin: good morning, new hampshire. we are following breaking news here and abroad. sean: a very active scene in paris. if you are waking up, you are going to notice it is very cold out there. kevin: it is. today, even colder than yesterday by a few degrees in a lot of areas. it is usually the second night with the clear skies and light winds that tends to be colder than the night before. we are of a crash on 93 northbound at exit 16 in the concord area. after that, 93 north is moving well up to the notch. 93 south is a good ride down through the hooksett tolls and from manchester into salem. 293 is moving well through the mill yard. 101, 111, the spalding, and 95 are up to speed. it is a nice ride into boston. this report is being brought to you by peters honda, nissan, and kia of nashua. from the wzid traffic network, i' m deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: we do start with a developing situation out of manchester. at least six people have been forced from their homes by a large fire on the city' s west side. firefighters were called to the intersection of rimmon and bremmer streets to find flames shooting from the third floor of this building. they fought the flames from the outside of the building. the red cross is helping the residents who were displaced. erin: intense flames there. the weather is starting to turn colder. people are cranking up furnaces. it brings some risks. were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning last night and firefighters say it could have been a lot worse. happened. ray: good morning. total of five people were taken to the hospital to be treated for carbon monoxide exposure. firefighters say it was an alert 11-year-old girl who noticed something was wrong. she said that something smelled funny and that the people inside the home were not feeling well. her father told her to get them all outside right away and call 911. officials say that likely prevented a tragedy because, when they arrived, they found carbon monoxide level at about 150 parts per million, enough to be deadly with long exposure. carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless, so you may not always smell anything when something is wrong. officials say everyone should have carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors on every level of their home. it is also a good idea to have your furnace surfaced frequently. everyone should make a full recovery. sean: thanks. let' s take you to live pictures in paris. it has been a busy and deadly morning. a woman wearing an explosive vest blew her up -- herself up as police tried to storm an apartment where police believe an alleged mastermind of the attacks last week is believed to be holed up. erin: at least five people were arrested. one person is still inside. four people have been hurt in the raid that included a hail of gunfire. sean: abc' s kenneth mot is followingon the latest -- moton is following the latest developments. kenneth: overnight, more gunfire in paris. residents told to stay inside. it was believed the mastermind had made his way back into syria, but police bent the night trying to figure out whether he was staying in an apartment near the stadium where the attacks began. the u.s., france, and russia have teamed up striking isis targets in syria. russian lies event -- president vladimir putin promised revenge after it was discovered that an isis bomb took down a russian plane over egypt killing 224 people. the u.s. is on high alert, but europe is on edge. major sporting events canceled over heightened fears. in germany, a hanover stadium was evacuated before kickoff judge has denied a request for loyal' s from nathaniel kibby to recuse the lead prosecutor jane young from that case. kibby is accused of holding a 14-year-old teenager for months in 2013 and he is accused of making a threat against the prosecutor. the judge has not said when he will rule on a dozen other motions. a woman accused of stabbing someone several times in manchester last year and going on the run is finally -- has finally been caught. u.s. marshals arrested 19-year-old leela cable at a bus station in fort lauderdale, florida. she stab someone with a piece of glass in the queen city last year and then failed to show up in court. she is being held without bail. sean: still to come, the race for the white house is shrinking. bobby jindal' s campaign is over. erin: a local elementary school student is making a big difference in her community. the number of families she is helping. sean: there are new clues in a cold case out of allenstown. investigators have a better i owe about $68,000. i owe $44,000 in student loans. my plan, the new college compact, says you should not have to borrow money to pay tuition if you go to a public college or university. and you ought to be able to refinance student debt. and i don't believe the federal government should be making a profit off of lending to young people who are borrowing to be able to get their education. we have freedom and opportunity. this wasn' t our time. erin: he had focused his campaign in iowa, but his poll numbers never got him high enough to get on the campaign for the main stage -- debate mainstage. two republican hopefuls are today. carly fiorina has two stops and jeb bush kicks off a two-day bedford. sean: get ready to be inspired. thanksgiving is next week. several local families will have food on the table thanks to 10-year-old kaylee felix, who collected canned goods and use her own money to double the items. she put together 30 thanksgiving baskets. local organizations also chipped [laughter] kevin: out of the can. anyway possible. large spoon, too. so yummy. i think i' m going to go get some. we start off with a lot of sunshine. temperatures eventually get back into the lower and mid 40' s in the north country to mid and upper 40' s elsewhere. clouds will be increasing. there may be a little bit of drizzle closer to the shoreline and then rainfall edging and later tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night. some spots could get well over an inch of rain fall tomorrow night and early friday. in control of our weather. with the light winds, it feels pretty good even with the afternoon. you will notice this line of rainfall is slowly moving east. that is our reality as we work our way into tomorrow night and friday morning. temperatures are in the teens to near 20. this is generally what we will see on the last night of a cold stretch. notice the temperatures this morning running 4-5 degrees colder than we were yesterday at this time. we will warm quickly after that and there is that little surge of warmth that comes in in the upper layers of the atmosphere. in time for the weekend. 40' sunshine. coast line and from high clouds out to the west there may be drizzle. there may be a shower through lunchtime tomorrow. the best chance will be later in the afternoon. a quick inch of rainfall is a possibility out of this and a couple of heavier downpours early friday morning. quick clearing behind that for friday afternoon and a good part of the weekend. it won' t be quite as cold over the weekend. your extended forecast shows temperatures over the next to -- several days getting their way back into the 50' s, but falling back to the 40' s by the weekend. we are looking for a mixed shower on sunday. sean: it felt a little bit like wintertime coming in this morning. kevin: a lot of people chiseling the windshields. sean: let' s check out our top stories. we start with ray brewer. ray: five people in nashua take into the hospital to be treated for carbon monoxide poisoning and firefighters are crediting an 11-year-old girl with preventing a family tragedy. she called her dad just after 8:00 last night to say something smelled funny and the people well. her father told them to get outside right away and call 911. carbon monoxide was found inside the home, officials blaming a furnace problem. three-story apartment building six people from their homes. when crews arrived at the intersection of rimmon and bremmer streets, they found heavy fire on the third floor. no reports of any injuries. erin: coming up, we will go behind the scenes with the radio city rockettes as they train for their famous k people are sick and tired of establishment politics, and they want real change! daybreak. erin: good morning and welcome to november 18. we are seeing very cold temperatures out there in many areas. a little bit of frost out there, as well. you might need the scraper. sean: kevin will talk about the forecast in a moment. right now, manchester firefighters are on the scene of a fire that broke out overnight on the city' s west side. nashua fire officials say a faulty furnace is to blame for high levels of carbon monoxide that said five people to the hot kevin: this morning, i probably could have used my ice scraper. for a lot of folks this morning, it may be one of the first times this season that you could use it. erin: our overnight crew is going to have to scrape off their cars. kevin: clouds and rainfall chances start to pile in tomorrow afternoon. temperatures are in the teens to mid 20' s. the closest -- the highest temperatures will be in the 40' s to near 50. erin: we do want to check the roads for you. here is a live look at 93. this is in the windham stretch davidson for 95.7 wzid. erin: fire officials and manchester are trying to figure out what sparked this overnight fire on the city' s west side. sean: flames broke out in a multifamily house on rimmon street. there are no reports of any injuries. people displaced by the fire. erin: five people were sent to the hospital last night after high levels of carbon monoxide were detected inside their home. sean: nashua firefighters were called to the house on northwood drive after the residents reported symptoms of dizziness and difficulty breathing. fire officials say it was an 11-year-old girl who realized there was a problem, right? ray: yeah, and alert 11-year-old girl. the girl noticed and= n unusual odor inside the house and the people were not feeling well. she called her dad. he told her to tell everyone to get out of the house immediately and call 911. when firefighters entered the home, they detected extremely high levels of carbon monoxide. the carbon monoxide was coming immediately shut down, the home ventilated. the five residents were taken to st. joseph' s hospital for various levels of carbon monoxide exposure. they are expected to be fine. firefighters say this serves as an important reminder that you should have working carbon monoxide detectors in every level of your home. reporting live, ray brewer. erin: thank you. new science is providing new clues in a 30-year-old cold case in allenstown. investigators have been able to provide more details and composite images of the woman and three children found inside metal barrels in the woods. in 1985, the bodies of a woman between 22 and 33 years old and a girl of around 9 or 10 were found. -- the bodies of two girls between 2 and 4 were found. the woman is related to two of woman and two children. the third child is unrelated. >> they were killed at the same time. this time period has been narrowed down to somewhere between 1980 and 1984. >> the friends in the family members of these victims are still alive, they are still out them. erin: investigators say 30 years ago, friends or family might moved. anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-thelost. sean: the goalie for the manchester monarchs is facing morning. patrik bartosak is accused of assaulting his girlfriend on monday in manchester. according to court documents, he allegedly strangled her, grabbed he is facing a felony charge of second-degree assault and seven simple assault charges. he moved to the team in california, but returned to new hampshire to play with the monarchs. in a statement, the monarchs said, "this is a serious matter and these allegations represent a type of behavior we do not stand for." erin: a third person charged in connection with the overdose death of a teen in rochester is expected to face a judge today. 31-year-old leslie aberle is charges including dispensing a controlled drug with death resulting. the charges stem from the death of 17-year-old eve tarmey. police say the teen died last month from a fentanyl overdose. aberle went to massachusetts to buy the drugs with tarmey, her mother, and her mother' s boyfriend. sean: an autopsy is scheduled today for a student reported missing last tuesday. yesterday, plymouth state confirmed that the student was found dead. erin: a scary situation for a homeowner in belmont. police say she caught a man breaking into her home. the suspect knocked on the woman answer. around the house and climb through a window. he took off when he saw her. the homeowner took pictures of suspect' s car, which helped them track him down. sean: the trial continues today responsible for the death of a child. 56-year-old mary ellen burrett children all and the age of five when it happened. >> but this was a structure that they were playing arrested during a standoff with police. let' s get straight to nikole killion. this all came during a raid that has lasted for several hours. nikole: that' s right. the raid still ongoing at last check. at least seven people have been arrested in connection with last week' s deadly attacks. this all unfolded overnight as police raided a paris suburb. swat teams took in several people into custody in an apartment during a standoff with police. several people were killed in that standoff, including a female suicide bomber, who blew herself up. the operation targeted the alleged mastermind of the attacks. many residents reported hearing gunfire and explosions during the operation. so far, no hostages have been taken, the four officers have been injured. sean: what else do we know about these suspects? nikole: as of now, police have not identified any of these sets x. we don' t know who has been killed, who has been taken into custody. if they did nab the mastermind, it would be a significant development. he is a belgian and is a key figure in some of isis' s external cells. erin: changes appear to be coming in the trial of a massachusetts teen accused of killing his teenager -- his teacher. 16-year-old philip chism went to his holding cell when a judge called a recess yesterday, but he refused to turn to the courtroom during testimony about where he dumped colleen ritzer' s body ody two years ago. the judge even tried to talk to him himself. >> he was lying on the floor mumbling with his eyes closed. >> i can' t come out, i can' t take it, i don' t want to hurt anybody. erin: the judge asked for a new psychological evaluation and ordered technicians to install a live video feed inside his holding cell. sean: a trip to walmart turned ugly for one woman in ohio. surveillance video shows the woman standing in line when another customer hits her with a card and grabs her by the hair and throws her to the floor. line. employees said the same woman hayley lapoint takes a closer look at the wind chill. haley: it is about to get mighty cold the next few months. we deal with very rough winters in new hampshire. it is due to the arctic cold, but also the wind. it makes the air feel harsh and brutal. we call that feeling the wind chill. the windchill is not an actual reading the thermometer get, it is a mathematical formula that calculates the dangers and overall brisk feel from winter winds and freezing temperatures. when we are standing outside with no wind, our body can retain our heat. when the wind blows it away, it literally blows away the heat surrounding her body. air temperature. the temperature of 15 degrees with a wind speed of 10 miles per hour, for example. that will equally wind speed of three degrees. the wind is
