this may be the warmest all day. temperatures may fall. it's 59 in nashua. 57 in worcester and what you see is what you get. there will be a lot of clouds this morning. patches of fog and drizzle. upper 50s lacone yeah to nashua. and lower 60s for most of us out over cape cod. visibility is reduced in spots. fine in eastern massachusetts but a touch of patchy fo south and east of nantucket. south of nantucket is going to stay there. what we will see today a lot of clouds and look at temperatures only in the upper 50s to around 60 and a shower or two is possible and have the umbrella on stand by but a lot of the day will be spent dry. overcast with an isolated shower and patches of drizzle at the coast for the ride home. we will go through the weekend in a few. let's get you on the roads. >> reporter: breaking overnight a deadly crash in the east boston area. one person was killed when a 1a and curtis street around 2 crn 30. police are investigate -- 2:30 # this morning. police are investigating. one lane remains closed. watch out for construction crews unside the o'neill tunnel. they are working in both direction this is morning. northbound the two left lanes are closed inside the tunnel. and southbound, two right lanes are closed and so is exit 24. construction in the tunnel has been wrapping up at around 5 a.m. every day so it shouldn't cause issues for the morning commute. >> thank you. a new twist in items taken from the home of nathan carman. the young man seen here arriving in boston after he was rescued off the massachusetts coast. carman returned to his vermont home yesterday. >> and this morning his mother is missing and presume dead. in an interview with the hartford current carman said i would like to thank the public for prayers and concern for both my mother and myself. and i would like to thank the crew of the ship that rescued me. both for rescuing me and for once a suspect in a murder of his grandfather. >> wbz lisa moller looks at the investigation. >> reporter: as nathan carman arrived at coast guard base in boston investigators were digging into the mystery that left his mother 54-year-old linda carman lost at sea. monday police executed a search warrant at his veron vermont home and came away with a modem sim card and hawr reel and i got to safety forward. [audio not understandable] >> reporter: on sunday the 22- year-old told the coast guard his story after he was found by a freighter. floating off the coast of martha's vineyard in a life raft. he and windsor connecticut. but a source confirms to our sister station that nathan was once the primary person of interest in the 2013 murder and acoring to the court documents windsor police submitted an island over mid to late morning. otherwise we are stuck in the clouds. there's more wet weather back to the west in terms of showers that will generally stay to the west for now. we are locked in with this moisture. 10 a.m. a little light green patchy dryel is likely to develop as we saturate the atmosphere today. otherwise, a lot of the day is spent dry and just overcast and with an isolated shower for your commute home. tonight patchy dryel and fog will -- drizzle and fog will continue. falling intoed mid-50s for most -- into-- falling into the mid- 50s for most of us. 55 to 60 for most
