their accounts. >> hundred of thousands of americans were unable to access bank accounts online. >> the men have not been arrested, prosecutors say the case demonstrates the global reach of the hackers as well as the global reach of u.s. law enforcement. >> no matter where they are, we will try to reach them. work to hide their identity and their trade craft, we will find ways to pierce that shield and identify them. >> the fact is the hackers may never be arrested. prosecutors admit that. but this case shows what's possible and how vulnerable we are. what's being done to fix that coming up on eyewitness news at 6:00. now to the terror investigation in belgium. investigators are connecting the cots bring the brussels attacks and the ones in paris. a man who blew himself up in brussels airport is believed to be the bomb maker for the attacks in paris. and subway bomber rented a house in bell yum used by the attackers. meanwhile, as the memorials grow in brussels, belgium lowered the terror threat level a touch. but they say another attack is still possible. marcy gonzales is here with more on the investigation. >> reporter: brussels is still on edge this afternoon. a shopping mall there was evacuated. because of a suspicious package. that scene's now cleared. there are still check points and extra security across the city as the search continues for at least two people believed to be involved in the attacks. across belgium, a moment of silence for the 31 people killed and 300 others injured in tuesday's terror attacks. >> i remember seeing an explosion. the whole time i was telling myself i'm going to make it. i'm going to make it. >> the man hunt for those responsible now expanding. police looking for one of the airport bombers and now searching for a suspect shown in surveillance images along with suicide bomber inside the subway station just before the attack. and new questions about an apparent failure of intelligence involving his brother, one of the terrorists to carry out the airport attack. authorities admitting he was detained last year at the back to europe. flagged by turkish authorities as a terrorist fighter but not by belgian officials. police saying he left an apparent suicide note on a discarded laptop saying he was being in a rush no longer knowing what to do. and if he did not act immediately, he would be in a prison cell like him. investigators believe it is a reference to saleh abdeslam. one of the suspects of the paris attacks captured just last week. while his attorney denies any connection, police believe saleh abdeslam's arrest may have caused the terror cell to panic and accelerate plans. police are looking into the possibility that this terror cell may have had other potential targets revealing today that trying to smuggle 70- pounds of cocaine. judge approved home confinement tsa officials say she was pulled over for random screening at lax on friday. they say she then dropped a bag full of cocaine, kicked off her airport barefoot. a plan for a new remodeled port authority bus terminal in manhattan took a step forward today the port authority board voted to replace existing terminals instead of building a new one in new jersey. the project could cost as much as $10 billion the terminal is part of the ten-year capitol plan. the port thyroid port authority board approved the redevelopment of 7 eyewitness news. it's 4:30, new this half hour, a health scare for children at two rockland county schools have been exposed to tuberculosis. now the schools are taking precautionary measures to make sure more people are not exposed. marco is in valley college with the details. marcus? dave and liz, eyewitness news learned it was a school bus monitor who has fallen ill and remains hospitalized. and now as many as 50 children are being tested to make sure they haven't contracted the potentially fatal infection. yesterday emails and letters went home to parents of children at liberty elementary school in valley cottage and nyak middle school. the exposure didn't occur in school buildings, not all students needed to be tested. the person who contracted tuberculosis was possibly exposed months ago. recently the person was hospitalized and diagnosed. the health department was notified and the letters went out. that can be treated with bibi jot with antibiotics. the health commissioner says at this point, none of the children are showing signs of testing positive. >> it doesn't mean that because the child was exposed that the child will ever have tb. we're checking and it's very treatable. >> as we said the bus monitor remains hospitalized. being treated with a variety of medications but is said to be improving. channel 7 eyewitness news. thank you marcus. police say they've arrested a man for at least six bank robberies. 40-year-old reginald tucker charged in two attempted bank robberies. a crime stoppers tipped helped them link the cases together. they think he may be responsible for four other robberies. we had a series of bank robberies. we received tips and investigative information that he was all ready on parole for robberies. and assault. >> police say tucker has all ready pleaded guilty to the on ris. a popular restaurant in greenwich went up in flames. the fire broke out after fire a.m. at the barcelona restaurant and wine and bar on west putnam avenue. officials say no one was in the restaurant at the time but residents were evacuated. they won't be allowed back into their homes because the building has been deemed unsafe and dangerous. a village purposefully discriminated against minorities. ruling over a 25-acre area in garden city comes after a decade long battle. racial opposition caused the village to insist on single family townhouses instead of multifamily zoning. >> now this decision means the door is open. >> yes. >> okay. for everybody. county must now stand trial for steering affordable housing to low income communities. a man from tennessee will plead guilty to stealing from the charity he created following the sandy hook school massacre. robert bruce cofounded the 20 for 26 foundation to raise money in memory of the victims, ryan who was bruce's partner tipped off authorities about the misuse of the funds. she told them that bruce failed to account for $73,000 of more than $100,000 the charity raised. bruce is scheduled to appear in federal court may 12th for a change of plea hearing. president obama admitted the u.s. was slow to speak out for human rights in argentina during the dirty war in 1976. this afternoon the president paid tribute to the victims by laying a wreath near a memorial bearing thousands of names. it takes courage for a society to into a high consumption season here. we're running a shade above average. good news there. numbers now are in the low 50s. that's where we hold through much of the evening hours. there will be more clouds around. the easterly winds shift southeasterly. so the wake up temperature, 57 degrees. there will be scattered showers. a little rain around. and i think the opportunity for steadier rain may be around the lunch hour. and there may be a rumble of thunder and a heavy band of showers that goes through and kicks up the winds. for sunshine after 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. and then we're really mild. with the showers, we're in the southeast 60s by midday. see the deck of low clouds around. showers over parts of southern new england. i think we'll stay dry. we may have to watch for late night drizzle or showers tomorrow morning. but look at the steadiest rain maybe late morning in the middle of the day. this has a look of a qualify line coming through with a cold front around midday. and then we see the exit. it might take until midday to clear out to long island. but temperatures make a run at 70 degrees. it should feel great during the afternoon hours. air quality will be good tomorrow. the rain coloring things out. knocking down the pollen count and a pretty good wind. the uv index is at a low 2. later in the day it'll be higher than that. here's the seven-day forecast. after tomorrow's push to 70 in the afternoon, we'll drop down 30s in many suburbs. as we go through the weekend, it's pretty much where we should be this time of the year. mid 50s. 40s at night. the only thing i'm concerned about on easter sunday, and right now future cast is not depicting it. it's throwing the low clouds into new england. we have to watch this trend. we may cloud over a little bit. that could hold temperatures back a little bit. but i think it's a dry easter. rain returns monday later in the day. 50s in the middle of the week next week. we'll have more weather at loving monster. microsoft launched the twitter account with an artificial intelligence program acting like a teenager. the idea was it was supposed to answer tweets. terrible things about african americans. professed love for hitler and the hate of jews. it blamed the behavior on twitter pranksters looking to trick the program's commenting skills. it wasn't learning good things. all the bad
