willow grove. through the morning, decrease in clouds, temperatures slowly warm up to the low 40's, by around noontime. we only get up to about 48 for the high temperature for philly still degree tomorrow, you will feel the difference, still little cold this morning, so you break out that heavier coat, but you won't need it, for the next several afternoons, as we talk about temperatures running well above average for this time of year. overcast skies, right now. one last disturbance rolling through the region producing few flurries over some spots. but overall, temperatures in the quite as cold as yesterday. thirty-seven right now in philadelphia. lie wind, 30, just inland at the atlantic city airport. where they currently have calm winds, as well, but pretty much everywhere vehicles, and an s.u.v., sends two police officers and another driver to the hospital. we're told all three have minor injuries, suv ran into the back after police wagon, at 52nd and chestnut. causing that vehicle to hit a cruiser. investigators tell "eyewitness news" that police found drugs in the suv, and the driver faces possible dui charges. apologizing for folks wearing kkk uniforms in a classroom. the picture which was taken in the 2014-2015 school year now going viral. superintendent, richard dunlap, sent out letter calling it school project that just went a rye. dunlap said it was a skit designed to highlight ross truest at this of the kkk from the 1920's, also said the district is deeply sorry. >> clinton the bulldogs first ncaa tournament, since the kennedy administration, weekend. this year the test is a little different. the sat's have been modified to focus on more practical areas of math, the test also moved away from obscure vocabulary words to focus on the use of relevant words and context. and, there is no more penalty for guessing. the sat administered by the college boards, private non-profit that helps streamline the path to higher education. meanwhile record number of student rent eager to proof, more than 32,000 perspective student submitted freshman applications for temple university's fall 2016 semester. now, that's 15% increase over last year. johnson, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". and, one dog apparently has learned a new trick. how to drive a semi truck. customers at minnesota gas station saw a goal end labrador retriever, at the wheel of the big rig just before it crashed. the truck hit tree in a park car, luckily, though, no one was hurt. the driver had left the unoccupied truck running, in nearby parking lot, not clear, though, how it wound up in gear. glad everybody's okay. well, it will be warm the next couple of days, a good day to walk the dog. >> exactly. see a lot of people outside specially for the middle of the week. i flower show today, your best bet, to take public transportation. septa basically on or close to schedule except for airport line. shuttle bussing between jenkintown, melrose park due to construction. but everything else, as is, moving along fine, same could be set for patco or new jersey transit. whatever you're taking in to see the flower show today. we will move the traffic cam, this is actually 422, at saint gabe's curve, there you go. no delays or problems on 422 this morning, and it is in fine shape. as you can see, volume just starting to pick up. but again, everything is running the first 07 degrees day of the year, that coming up for you, we have to get through today. this morning, one last disturbance, bringing clouds, few areas seeing light flurries, that's about it. not going to amount to anything, temperature right now 37 degrees, with wind out of the north 5 miles her hour, live look there, see the overcast skies. and couple of areas of the flurries, just kind of splitting, philadelphia, we have one to the north across the lehigh valley, a lot of that is not even reaching the ground. maybe had few flurries earlier, around wilmington and parts of southern new castle county delaware. stays cloudy, see the sun for the afternoon, temperatures not as cool as yesterday morning, still below freezing some spot. like a the loft suburbs just outside the city 31 willow grove. through the morning, decrease in clouds, temperatures slowly warm up to the low 40's, by around noontime. we only get up to about 48 for the high temperature for philly still degree below average. some sunshine, high of around 40. we crank the heat up this week, let you know who has good shot of reaching 70 degrees for few days. those details in a few minute, back to you. >> look week, still staying above average. so that's what we can expect. nice warm pattern for the next ten to even 14 days. so, morning snow showers, otherwise clearing skies today. high of 48 degreesment tomorrow, you will feel the difference, still little cold this morning, so you break out that heavier coat, but you won't need it, for the next several afternoons, as we talk about temperatures running well above average for this time of year. overcast skies, right now. one last disturbance rolling through the region producing few flurries over some spots. but overall, temperatures in the quite as cold as yesterday. thirty-seven right now in philadelphia. lie wind, 30, just inland at the atlantic city airport. where they currently have calm winds, as well, but pretty much everywhere seeing the clouds, few picks every sunday shine across south jersey, but eventually we will see more sun this afternoon. here's what's left of this system. not much to it. couple of flurries possible. vehicles, and an s.u.v., sends two police officers and another driver to the hospital. we're told all three have minor injuries, suv ran into the back after police wagon, at 52nd and chestnut. causing that vehicle to hit a cruiser. investigators tell "eyewitness news" that police found drugs in the suv, and the driver faces possible dui charges. apologizing for folks wearing kkk uniforms in a classroom. the picture which was taken in the 2014-2015 school year now going viral. superintendent, richard dunlap, sent out letter calling it school project that just went a rye. dunlap said it was a skit designed to highlight ross truest at this of the kkk from the 1920's, also said the district is deeply sorry. >> clinton the bulldogs first ncaa tournament, since the kennedy administration, weekend. this year the test is a little different. the sat's have been modified to focus on more practical areas of math, the test also moved away from obscure vocabulary words to focus on the use of relevant words and context. and, there is no more penalty for guessing. the sat administered by the college boards, private non-profit that helps streamline the path to higher education. meanwhile record number of student rent eager to proof, more than 32,000 perspective student submitted freshman applications for temple university's fall 2016 semester. now, that's 15% increase over last year. this pattern will hold really for the next couple of weeks, so through the middle of the month of march, the jet stream for the most part stays to the north. we get the nice flow out of the rahel. looking at the ben franklin parkway in the art museum circle, now, both are open for business today. there are no event here scheduled but that we know of, no far from here it is at the pen ten convention center the philadelphia flower show. so expect lot of delays, westbound, at 12th street. a lot of pedestrian traffic. watch out for pedestrians, there as well. and if you are visiting the flower show today, your best bet, to take public transportation. septa basically on or close to schedule except for airport line. shuttle bussing between jenkintown, melrose park due to construction. but everything else, as is, moving along fine, same could be set for patco or new jersey transit. whatever you're taking in to see the flower show today. we will move the traffic cam, this is actually 422, at saint gabe's curve, there you go. no delays or problems on 422 this morning, and it is in fine shape. as you can see, volume just starting to pick up. but again, everything is running
