let s go straight to storm team meteorologist. how this affects us here in south carolina depends on a lot of things . a lot of thing and depends on where and if it makes land fall along the east coast. we were talking about this storm battering haiti and that s what it s doing. bringing that deaf staitding rainfall amounts to the island. they re expecting up to 25 inches of rain in those areas. maybe even higher amounts. maybe double that. closer to 40 inches of rain. life-threatening amounts of rain. you re talking storm surge and this storm is certainly a bit stronger than yesterday when we were talking. now hurricane strength winds only extend out from the tropical storm winds extend further than that. 8 miles an hour. so picked up just a little bit of forward momentum overall. this storm is a very slow mover. i whether bring you back closer to home. a ways to go before we worry about our local forecast. this morning, we have to worry about a bit of fog just lik ....
