was killed this morning following a nearly 20-hour standoff at sealy s family home in middle town. at 9:17 a.m., the armed suspect entered the residence and engaged police. he was then shot by law enforcement. wednesday at this wawa in bear, corporal, a passenger in a parked red dodge, to get out. police say sealy pulled the a gun and starting shooting. the corporal tried to run for cover. he pursued him and the suspect fired a handgun striking him in the upper body. he immediately went to the ground. the suspect then fired multiple rounds. this morning, the corpral s casket was moved from the medical examiner s office to a wilmington funeral home. seal s home from heavily damaged during the siege overnight. gunfire came from the house. police responded with explosive charges that blew open doors and windows. neighbors who did not evacuate described the sounds of the police action. every hour, the bombs went off so at 1:50, there was a bomb and we heard exmo ....
