news, they say possible gang-related shooting left six people injured. five with gunshot wounds, it happened friday night near a liquor store. they say group of people were on the sidewalk when multiple shooters walked up and began firing. they say stray bullet hit the windshield of a oakland woman who is driving. and it sent last shards into her eyes. all of those victims injured are expected to recover. also, because of a fire on a dock is under investigation. it happened yesterday around noon, they ride to see part of the dock burning. they were able to control the fire with no injuries reported. and national news, flash flooding in texas killed a woman and her four grandchildren. they say that the family was swept away after water poured into the city just after midnight yesterday morning. and in less than an hour several inches of rain pounded the area, water even reaching the roof tops of some homes. the woman son said she tried to get her kids to safety but it was too late. >> she got to the driveway, and she had the key is high up and they say that they were telling her to come this way. and, she was trying. and she was just like, hey. and she said she couldn't take it. >> they found the bodies three hours after the water receded the children were between the ages of six and nine, the grandmother was 64. a grandmother missing in the same county after a flood swept them as well. remembering eight members of the same family who were gunned down a week ago. >> hundreds of people held a vigil for eight members of the family and pike county friday night. the community also held a candlelight prayer and released balloons. meantime, investigators are in the dark about who killed them and why. they called the attacks a sophisticated think that she left her home to meet up with her boyfriend. the 15-year-old didn't come home from the alhambra high school. they say she may have taken a bus to concord bart station. she said she -- they say she is developmentally disabled and has a disk think guard. -- distinct scar. police are asking that anyone with any information to contact them. law enforcement agencies throughout the bay might see some possible showers. that coming up. in the east bay police say a possible gang-related shooting in oakland left 6 people injured. 5 of them were gunshot wounds. it happened friday night near a liquor store in west oakland. officers say group of people were on the sidewalk multiple shooters walked up and began firing. police say a stray bullet hit the windshield of a 24-year-old oakland woman who was driving by. glass shards were sent into her eye. all of the victims injured in the shooting are expected to recover. also in oakland the cause of the fire on a dock near the park street bridge is under investigation. it happened yesterday around noon. fire officials arrived at the dock to see part of it burning. 2201 e. 7th street. crews were able to control the fire and no injuries reported. flash flooding in texas killed a woman and her 4 grandchildren. police say the family was swept away after water poured into the city of palestinian. after midnight. in less than one hour several inches of rain pounded the area and water even reached the rooftops of some homes. the woman's son says she tried to get the kids to safety but it was too late. >> she got to the driveway. she had the kids high up and they were talking to her telling her come this way. they say she was trying. once she took so many steps she was like, i guess you got week. i can't take it. >> police found the bodies 3 hours after the water receded. the kids is were between the age of 6 and 9. the grandmother was 64. a man is missing in that same county after floodwaters swept him away as well. more national news. a community in ohio is remembering 8 hot it members of the family gorgon down. -- gunned down. >> [indiscernible] >> hundreds of people filled a vigil for the members of the family. the community also held a candlelight prayer vigil and released balloons in the victims memory. meantime investigators are still the dark about who could deal -- who killed them. official since thursday. police think she may have left her home to meet up with a boyfriend in oakland. she did not come home thursday from high school. authorities say she may have taken a bus to concorde bart station. police say she is development fleet disabled and has a distinct scar on her neck. they say she tends to wear heavy makeup and is usually dressed in dark clothing. pleasant hill police are asking that anyone with information contact them. law enforcement agencies are taking part in national prescription drug take back they. it's an event where all prescription and over-the- counter to warm up. as we progress through the day make sure you pack a lot of water. if you're planning to head out the door by noon temperatures will heat up and we will see some 80s. by 5 pm sunny skies and warm temperatures will stick around. upper 70s and a nice evening to get outside and barbecue. it will be a perfect night. as we plan ahead looking for your afternoon high, this is what it will look like. 3:00 p.m. -- 80 in hayward. 83 and pleasanton as well. checking in for 3 months at 84 in san jose. summer like weather. though not officially summer. this is what you can expect. the 80s will stick around tomorrow. not as warm as today but it will still be in the upper 70s to low 80s. you don't really want to have short sleeves tomorrow as you make your way into work. tuesday things will cooldown. mid-to upper 70s and a slight breeze cooling things down across the bay area. we might see scattered showers, i will let you know which days coming up in your seven-day forecast. in the east bay police say a possible gang-related shooting in oakland left 6 people injured, 5 with gunshot wounds. it happened friday night. officers say a group of people were on the sidewalk when multiple shooters walked up and began firing. least say a stray bullet hit the windshield of a 24-year-old oakland woman whose driving in the area. that sent glass shards into her eye. please say all of the victims injured in the shooting are expected to recover. also an oakland the cause of the fire on a dock is under investigation. it happened yesterday around noon. file a fishers -- fiat -- fire officials arrived to see it burning. they were able to control it and no injuries were reported. flash flooding in texas killed a woman and 4 of her grandchildren. please say the family was swept away after water poured into the city. just after midnight yesterday morning in less than one hour several inches of rain pounded the area. water reached the roofs of some homes. woman's son says she tried to get the kids to safety but it was too late. >> she got to the driveway. she had the killed's -- kids and they were talking to her telling her to come this way. keep walking. and they say she was trying. and while she took so many steps she was like, i guess you get we, she was like i can't take it. >> police found the bodies 3 hours after the water receded. the kids were between 6 and 9 years old. the grandmother was 64. a man in that same county is missing in that same fled. a community in ohio is remembering 8 members of the same family who were gunned down a week ago. hundreds of people holding a vigil for the 8 members of the family on friday night. the community held a candlelight prayer and released balloons in the victim's memory. meantime investigators are in the dark about who killed them and why. officials called a sophisticated preplanned execution. please later found pot growing operations and some of the victims homes. but there is no word on whether the shootings were drug- related. wind passengers who request an uber ride are allowed to bring long service animals. uber and advocates for the blind reached a settlement that all drivers understand their legal obligation to transport riders and guide dogs. that agreement result a federal lawsuit that alleged that uber discriminates against passengers with service pack. the rancher company also agreed to fire a driver after a single plate if they find the driver discriminates against anyone with a disability. still ahead, strong pitching helps the a's to a win. the giants matt cain continues tuesday. right now for the rest of your weekend it looks great with 80s across the board. right at noon days when we see temperatures. here's a live shot. no delays and it's a beautiful drive if you're headed into the downtown area. clear blue skies all across the bay area. also the warmer temperatures. here are some temperatures outside. 65 in san francisco. not bad for 930. 67 in oakland. fremont 65. pleasanton 61. livermore 63. the heat is definitely on the way. if you're going to be heading out the door and spending time outside it's going to be a great day to do so by noon. that is when we see the heating trend hit 80s. especially for your east bay and south bay location. by 5 pm we will still have sunny skies and the warm temperatures will stick around. we will see upper 70s. a great evening to spend outside. also baseball game weather for sure. this will be a good day to catch and a's game. they're playing the astros with the 1st pitch at 1:05. bring your sunblock and drink a lot of water. temperatures as you can see will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. keep in mind, leave plenty of time if you had to the game because the warriors are also playing in oakland. traffic is going to be busy along 880. coming up i will have your 7 day around the day forecast. speaking of the a's and warriors, happening just a few hours from now the warriors will start the 2nd round of the playoff. the parking lot is just opening up and it will be very busy. warrior fans are already out for the game. a's fans are tailgating as well. kron4's avery is right in the middle. hausa going? >> reporter: i was just inside of the oracle arena. now i am outside. there's lots of fun activities for everyone to partake in here at fan fest. food trucks, just a couple of minutes i have seen food trucks, there is also some exclusive warriors conquering to step behind the camera and show you, there's an area where people can take pictures over here. there is a beer garden. you can also come and get all of your warriors gear here in the fan fest. this is free. you don't have to have tickets to any of the games. there are a's and warriors fans here. this is a free event for anyone who is in the area. that i would suggest if you plan on coming you make your way here by public transportation. the parking lots are already starting to fill up. $40 for parking. the oakland a's are playing and continues for missing 15-year-old husband hill girl. she has been missing since thursday. now police think she may have left her home to meet up with her boyfriend in oakland. she is 15-year-old jeanette graves. authorities say she may have taken up bus to concorde bart station. police say she is developmentally disabled and has a distinct scar on her neck. they say she tends to wear heavy makeup and is usually dressed in dark clothing. pleasant hill police are asking anyone with information to contact them. law enforcement agencies from throughout the area took part in national prescription drug takeback day. an event for all prescription and over-the-counter medications were accepted by police with no questions asked. the event was scheduled long before famed musician prince recently died of a possible drug overdose. we stopped by the livermore police department and found hundreds of people showing up. back by the end of the day hundreds of livermore residents like maria past through the drive-through. dropping off bags of prescription medications they don't need. >> it for someone to break into my house all of this medicine if it were expired or not someone could take it. [music] this -- >> reporter: this after the world is in shock after the death of prince. his death may be linked to prescription medication overdose. bringing light to a significant societal issue. >> i know a lot of my friends are sad. a an event sponsored by the us drug enforcement administration livermore police department says it has been participating in this program for at least 5 years. >> thank you so much. keeping it out of our waterways. a on this day and location crime prevention specialist nicole says police collected or than 500 pounds of medication. >> we actually recycle the packaging. we dump everything out of the bottles. what we actually turn in is primarily the medicine itself. since the inception of these events the dda says 5.5 million pounds of pills have been jose. 68 in fremont. we already have 71 in concorde. 76 in napa. temperatures are definitely going to heat up throughout the day so you'll want to be outside if you can. i noon days when the heating trend will heat things up around the bay area and you will see upper 70s, low 80s around the bay area. lots of water needed. by 5 pm we will still have warm temperatures with upper 70s and it will be mostly sunny skies. all the way through the evening it will be a beautiful day. here's what you're afternoon highs look like. a lot of 80s. starting around 3 pm we will see 84 in napa, 79 in oakland, 83 in pleasanton, and fremont also checking in at 83. here is a look at your 7-day around the bait forecast. today is going to be the warmest day for the next 7 days. tomorrow will still be quite nice with temperatures in the 80s but low 80s. that is when the cooling trend will start on tuesday with temperatures dropping down to the mid-70s. on wednesday and thursday we might have some possible showers. keep the umbrellas handy. by friday partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the low 70s. on saturday it will be almost a carbon copy of friday. we will have sunnier weather the temperatures will be around the same. lower 70s and upper 60s across the board. back to you. mobile payments are catching on with retailers and restaurants. now in the bay area there's a new way to pay for something very common. all you have to do is tap your phone. >> reporter: chevron gas stations in the bay area are adding the ability to pay at the pump with your phone. i love this. i think it's convenient. you don't have to mess with your wallet, to get your credit card, or touch the dirty terminal keypad. you just your phone to the pump and fuel. let's check out. here i am at the pump. i am ready to get gas. right here at the front of the terminal is the fast pay. this is where you pull out your phone and tap it. there goes. it brings up my apple pay. it wants by fingerprint. i have authorized the payment. no messing with the wallet or credit card. i just took out my phone and tapped it to the terminal. that worked smoothly. this supports all credit card types and all nfc-based payment services. apple pay, android pay, simpson pay, and anything else that may launch in the future the utilizes nfc. i have covered apple pay and android pay quite a bit. in many ways it safer than using a credit card. apple, google and samsung have built the systems with very strong encryption. considering all the problems we hear about with gas pumps and the card reading skimmers, this date with the look for my page on our website. new this morning president obama's eldest daughter will attend harvard university after taking a year off. the white house announced the news earlier this morning. she said to graduate high school in june. she visited at least a dozen public and private colleges. among them were princeton and harvard. were her parents aren't degrees. in entertainment news actor will ferrell will not star as ronald reagan. the comedian was set to play the former president in a movie called reagan. it was said to be a satirical comedy about how the former president fell into
