it s really scary. she s always worried about a plane crash. does this change your opinion about living near an airport? my house has been here for a while and i m staying regardless if the airport is there or not but i wish it wasn t there. if you look at the left side of the frame you ll see a small trailer. the plane also clipped that trailer and dislodgeded it from the suv that was towing it. they re now dealing with about 40 gallons of fuel that spilled out of the plane. two men are behind bars and a daly city police officer is in the hospital after a high speed chase through san francisco today. the get away car hit a police suv. the suspects were later caught hiding in a nearby backyard. kpix5 s katy neilson is live with more. reporter: this all started around 11:45 this morning when daly city police got a call about two men trying to break into cars at the mall parking lot. when the cops showed up the two guys jumped into a waiting car and took off ....

missing about 1:05 this morning. the federal aviation administration says it believes there were four people on board. reports indicate there was a pilot, a patient, a nurse, and a paramedic on board. the life flight pilot indicated due to smoke in the cockpit, he was going to return to the airport. but, contact with the plane was lost about five miles northeast. very close to where the plane was found. smoke in the cockpit is a serious danger because smoke can be highly toxic and it obliterates the pilot s ability to see the instruments which could result in a crash. the sheriff s office is coordinating the search along with the chp. this crash did create a bit of a vegetation fire which cal fire is on. and, the bottom line is of the four people, the fate of only two is known. they are dead. the other two i m sure they are still looking for and they are inspecting the fuselage. tom vacar, ktvu fox 2 news. thanks tom. now to a developing story out of san diego where ....
