Lifestyle coaches act as a guide teaching participants how to read nutrition labels, and track their eating and physical activities. Participants have three goals, reduce body fat by 7 weekly, and stop diabetes before it reaches a type 2 status. To qualify you must possess the risk factors of prediabetes or take a Risk Assessment test. Coaches say the cdc structured course doesnt force participants on a diet or hold them accountable, but encourages. They lean on each other, and support each other, weve had classes that meet before class and they walk together before class. A woman and her two children are in the hospital this morning after a mobile home fire in cedar falls. Police and firefighters responded to 2508 union road. The first fire was reported just before midnight. Fire crews had to rescue the woman out of the front window. They also rescued her 3 and 5 year old kids. First responders were called out again about 4 this morning. Officials do not know what caused the fire. Builders can move forward with a new highrise in downtown iowa city. This comes after several months of legal battles. Last year, Trinity Episcopal Church appealed a judges decision to dismiss a last week, the City Council Approved the settlement between the church and the towers developers.
