February 2, 2021 Oglesby Police Department – Trident Office – Studstill Media File Photo OGLESBY – Officer Randy Slimko Leininger was sworn in Monday night as the newest member of the Oglesby Police Department. Commissioner of Public Property, Parks, Ambulance, Fire, Human Resources Carrie Lijewski gave the oath of office to Leininger in front of the Mayor and the Oglesby City Council. Commissioner Lijewski also announced that the Oglesby Police Department has earned a Federal Use of Force certification from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police.
