Cover band 'Nothing Too Serious' have become the target of online abuse after their drummer tested positive to coronavirus following a gig at Avalon RSL Club - as the Northern Beaches cluster climbs to 38.
The drummer, a Frenchs Forest man in his 60s, likely contracted the virus during the performance at the RSL club on December 11. There are 15 infections now connected to the venue.
The man then performed at the Penrith RSL on December 13 and at the Kirribilli Club on December 14 before NSW Health issued an urgent alert for the Northern Beaches on December 16 - at which point he got tested and went into self-isolation.
