"eyewitness news" reporter anita oh, live at temple university hospital this morning, where that boy is now recovering. anita, what do police know? >> good morning, jan. well, police say that that gunman appeared to have been about five-six, and wore all dark clothing, that 12 year old expected to recover and is in stable condition here at temple university hospital, perhaps he'll able to tell investigate areas bit more about what happened. but this all unfolded just after midnight on north 19th street near west somerset street. you can see in this video investigators working on that crime scene. this is just off west lehigh avenue. bullets hit the 16 year old twice in the chest, and once in the neck, while the 12 jerold was shot once in the leg. >> right now our scene consists of eight shell casings, four projectiles, also four strike marks on the actual property itself, three in the wall. >> investigators are also searching for cameras in the area, and speaking to further witnesses as well. again, that 12 year old boy is in stable condition here at temple university hospital. for now live in north philadelphia, anita oh, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> all right, anita, thank you and investigation now underway , after another double shooting. this shooting happened in philadelphia's feltonville section. officers say two people were shot right around 1:00 a.m. on the 400 block every west wyoming avenue. one person now in critical condition. the other person was shot in the leg and is now in stage condition. police have not made any arrests, no word on what may have motivated the shooting. >> police are investigating a homicide inside after elkins park home. and investigators say, the killer is the victim's brother as "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan explains, police found the suspect, in upper moore lands township, with the victim's stolen car. >> a neighbor who are who didn't want us here on camera told us he was concerned all day when he saw his neighbor harry's car wasn't here, and now those fears confirmed, harry, one every elkins park, found dead in his home. police say around 1215, dis patch to the 400 block every north sterling road in elkins park for wellness check. sixty-four year old harry bok man, who lives in this house, was supposed to meet family member on friday night for dinner, and never showed up. police say bokman's brother 60 year old jamison bokman of philadelphia is being charged with murder, they say, jamison bokman beat his older brother to death and stole his car. harry bokman found in the basement with signs every blunt for trauma to his face and body. jamison was located when his brother's stolen ford escape at fair fields inn and mo tell swat team arrested jamison bok man without incident, being head in jail on charges every first and third degree murder. elkins park, cleve bryan, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> a teenager shot and killed in south philadelphia last month, is now being remembered family and friends gather for viewing as funeral for call armillae, the 16 yee old shot and killed near 12th and ritner on october 24th. police say 16 year old brandon oliveri shot miller and 16 year old sal nubile during a argument. oliveri being held without bail. >> new this morning, president trump now in japan for the first stop of his 11 day tour of asia. the president played golf with japanese prime minister. the prime minister said that the two leader were able to talk frankly in a relaxed atmosphere while on the golf course. the president notes that the two countries are very close. >> the relationship is really extraordinary. we like each other. and our countries like each other. and i don't think we've ever been closer to japan than we are right now. >> former al talks begin tomorrow, both leaders plan to focus on north korea nuclear threat. >> and yesterday, philadelphia was the site of one of many anti-trump protests all across the country, at least one clash with trump supporters led to an arrest, take a look. >> and argument involving three people went from words to attack he will then handcuffs, but the demonstrations there were mostly peaceful. about 100 anti-trump protesters list toned ers at thomas plane plaza before marching through center city. >> new york city beefing up security for this morning's marathon. it attract spectators and runners from all around the world, and has only ever been canceled once. as wendy gillette reports, the extra protection follows last tuesday's terror attacks in manhattan. >> the dando family inning joying manhattan before running the marathon sunday. they arrived thursday night. two days after an alleged terrorist who said he was inspired by isis drove a pick-up truck into bicyclists killing eight people and injuring 11 other. was there any consideration to pull out when you heard about that terror attack? >> right now just cloudy. little passing shower, maybe little bit after drizzle out there. but overall, not going to be anything near what we dealt with last sunday whether we just had the downpour all the way through the afternoon, and evening, current temperature around 54 degrees if philadelphia, look at the clouds, right now, across center city. cloudy start to the day. we got extra hour of sleep. sun roast around 6:35 this morning, so now, at least a little brightening out there. winds out of the east around 9 s like 54 degrees, as well. fifty-four now in trenton, we have 50 degrees in allentown, 44 gross in mount pocono. down the shore, we're in the 50's, actually, up ear's now in atlantic city at 58 degrees , 58 in wildwood. and delaware, we had 57 in dover. it is right around 54 degrees, in the wilmington area. our winds are coming out of the east, we've got that consistent on shore flow, that kick up yet. still today, have that going on at least this morning. so, some coastal flood advisories for some of the new jersey beaches, also our delaware beaches. we will see this winds shifting more out of the south , that coastal flood advisory will expire, and then also, once that southerly wind kicks in, we'll see numbers warmer, leading into the afternoon, and actually, above average, remember, yesterday, we only topped out around 59 degrees, but today, forecasting high temperature every 65. low seven's monday. then a cold front will move through behind the front. it will be a little bit more seasonable, if not just slightly below average for this time of year. starting on tuesday. butt for today clouds dominate that forecast. we could have some patchy drizzle, in spots, maybe even passing shower, so i don't want to call for completely dry day. but milder afternoon, certainly, looking at temperatures making it into the mid 60s: storm scan3 shows batch of rain that moved through overnight, that's now pushed off to the east. we're still dealing with the clouds, though, across the region, and again we still have the risk for little shower maybe even some spotty drizzle, future weather will confirm that for us as we head into the afternoon. that's going to be possibility all the way into the evening hours too. so here's your eagles game day forecast. overall, much better forecast, compared to last sunday, when it was basically like a washout. 1:00, you can watch it right here on cbs-3, 61 degrees, that's going to be the kick off temperature, and we'll have the risk for spotty shower around, but again, not a washout. that's most important, right? transform your career with strayer university's mba program today. let's get it. >> this is cbs-3 "eyewitness news" this morning. today is sunday, november 5th. good morning, everyone, i'm jan carabeo. let's get you up and out the door, lot of sunday activities today. chelsey ingram out on the cbs-3 skydeck. >> cloudy skies starting out your sunday, did have rain that moved through overnight, overalled trend will be to keep the clouds and also deal with maybe a little patchy drizzle and spotty shower, but overall, not a bad sunday on tap. it will feel little milder as well. we start you off with a live look at the reading area. you can see even in reading dealing with that cloud cover. temperature though right around 50 degrees, that's milder compared to where we were. >> now pushed off to the east, again, still going to run the risk for spotty shower, maybe even some patchy drizzle, as we head throughout your sunday 54 degrees now in philadelphia , 53 in wilmington , 57 in dover, we have 58 in red willing, right around 50 degrees in the allentown area. now we are warmer. compared to just 24 hours. remember, yesterday, this time , we still had some numbers in the 30's, up in the poconos, right now, 9 degrees warmer there, 9 degrees warm nerve philadelphia, and right around 14 degrees warmer in allentown, so, throughout the day, you can expect those temperatures to trend up, looking at 60s in the forecast , 65 degrees, mild afternoon on tap in philadelphia, and 66 down the shore, and then 55 degrees in the poconos, believe it or not , it will be even warmer as we led into your monday, i'll have that forecast along with your eagles game day forecast coming up in just a bit. for now we send it back to you >> chelsey, thank you. we start with breaking news this morning, teenager is dead , after a double shooting in north philadelphia. a 12 year old was also injured "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh, live at temple university hospital this morning, where that 12 year old is now recovering, anita, what's the latest? >> good morning, jan, well, that 12 year old is in stable condition here at temple university hospital. he's expected to recover. medics, how much, pronounced that 16 year old dead at the scene. now, as you can see in this video, investigators overnight started working on this shooting scene, it happened on the 2700 block of north 19th street. by west somerset street off west lehigh avenue. investigators say just after midnight a gunman fired into a crowd of teens, bullets had hit the 16 year old twice in the chest, once in the neck, while the 12 year old got hit once in the leg. philadelphia police captain george fuchs says other teens in the group were able to get away unharmed. >> we had female witnesses, transported to homicide, looking for cameras in the area. right now we have our detective on homicide, our crime scene unit, detective on location, trying to find the shooter. >> and investigators say they found at least eight shell casings, on the scene, and witnesses told police that that gunman appeared to have been about five-six, and wore all dark clothing. investigators are looking for surveillance cameras action in the area, and also speaking to witnesses. but if you know anything, call police. for now live in north philadelphia, anita oh, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> all right, anita, thank you >> well there is morning, a camden county police officer is waking up at home. he was released from the hospital yesterday just days after he was shot in the line of duty. "eyewitness news" reporter alicia newest spoke with the witness' father, and whether he plans to return to the force. >> after being shot in the line every duty, camden county police officer, patrick o'hanlon, is leaving the hospital and headed home. giving a thumbs-up on his way out to signal he's going to be okay. >> sore, little swollen, but good spirits, and wants to go home and get in his own bed and, you know, relax, get well >> officer o'hanlon's father, grateful to be taking his son home, grateful the incident wednesday night didn't ends in a different way. >> we're extremely fortunate the way that the situation unfolded that the gun jammed, and the suspect was not able to finish him off like he tried to do. >> camden police chief, scott tomorrow many son, says officer o'hanlon was shot in the leg near ninth and chelten avenue in camden, after stopping a suspicious van. even though he was shot, the young officer only one year on the force was able to still apprehend his suspect without another officer or another person get being hurt. >> just the training he got. he just reacted. and from what i could tell he reacted the way in a good way. >> the fact of the matter is that the situation was able to be resolved without anyone losing their life. even the person that was trying to take ours. >> officer o'hanlon is expected to make a full covary there is no time frame of when , but his family says he will return back to being a police officer in camden. in the sat center, alicia, cbs-3, "eyewitness news." the former security chief at the delaware prison where a deadly uprising took place earlier this year is no longer with the department of corrections. this was the scene at the james t vaughn correctional center near smyrna on february . spokesperson for the department says jeffrey critters left the prison system, on october 20th. now there no word whether he left voluntary tarly or forced out. correctional officer steven floyd died in the riot. >> the jury will begin deliberations in the corruption trial of senator bob menendez once closing arguments ends tomorrow. federal prosecutors claim the new jersey democrat took lavish gifts, campaign contribution frost a wealthy doctor in exchange they allege that the doctor received both business and personal favors from the senator. both men denied the charges. >> former new york congressman , anthony weiner; scheduled to start serving his two year prison sentence in massachusetts tomorrow. back in may, he pleaded guilty to send g a text to 15 old girl. first sexting scandal in 2011, his wife, hillary clinton aid, much. a, has file for divorce. >> vice president mike pence is making the case to the republican tax reform plan. he talked about that plan during a stop in york pennsylvania. the vice president toured an arrow space component company. then he spoke to businesses from around the keystone state pence says it is a community that laid foundation to make america great again, and he talked about the plan. take a listen. >> it makes its way to the president's desk, before the ends the ends of this year. it may well be the largest tax cut in american history. >> president trump is absolutely committed to cut the rate on american businesses to 20%. >> now, opponent of the plan demonstrated outside. they say tax money from big business helps improve everyone's quality of life. thousand it is of runners will be taking over the ben franklin bridge this morning. the 16th annual cooper norcross run the bridge charity event kicks off at 8:30, and crews will soon start shutting down the bridge to vehicles for the event, that happens in july about 15 minute, from now. now the event includes a 10k run and 2-mile bridge walk. proceeds go to the lark school for student with disability, in bellmawr, new jersey, the center provides special education for toddlers, to up adults, at no cost. still ahead here on cbs-3 "eyewitness news" this sunday morning. breakfast with the phillies. sounds nice. how the teen is paying it forward during the holiday season. >> plus: carson wentz faces his tough he is challenge this season. as the eagles host the denver broncos. how he plans to deal with it straight ahead in eyewitness sports. and making plans to go that game? >> so what i didn't realize -- >> and here is a picture, you looked absolutely gorgeous, amy our segment producer show producer here phenominal woman me on the end. so tell me what your take was? >> ly was listening, i didn't realize, many of the viewers may not realize, the pspca does so much including of course going out to these animal cruelty cases. and, they're called by the city, the city doesn't fund the pspca. so the pspca does all of the work but doesn't get know hip so it makes this fundraiser so important. >> you know who funds the pspc a, it is you, it is, it is people, no government agencies are funding this organization, and they're doing so much work to keep the neighborhoods safe and the animals and the city safe. because if you're treating your animals right in your city, your people are being treated right. so it really goes hands in hand. and you really need to remember that. couple of things, we had time change before we get to the three adoptable cats. we had time change as you know couple of things that you may want to remember. it will be getting dark when he people get home a little bit earlier. so, reflective callers that sort every thing. this is what's on marvin's collar all the time. i turn it off at night, don't want to wear the bootery down, called bubble blinker can be seen to up mile away. and even with all of the lights that we've got going on in the studio right now, you might be able to pick it up, something that will keep you and your safe safe walking at night. specially a dog black as night as marvin is here. all right, yes, such an angel. let's take a look at couple of other angels, these are cat angels, aren't they darling?
